Not even close outside a vast majority of businesses are still running VMWare. It's market-share continues to grow and that is what makes people pissed off. How did such a hot property get in the hands of EMC? Everyone would love for EMC to sell its super controlling interest in this company. Not going to happen Cloud and virtualization are the big buzzwords right now as well as big data and EMC has a dominate position in the market. If anything I see them expanding more into big data and Apache Hadoop cloud services maybe acquiring a Hadoop company. Maybe going after someone who competes with Cloudera developing their own offshoot. Ether way I predict when Tucci steps down he will retain his position a chairman of the board of VMWare and EMC for some time to come. VMware is not going anywhere anytime soon its too key to EMC business.
