Pot. Kettle. Black. There ebay!
I can't see Ebay rushing to allow Google Checkout, but still enforces the requirement to use paypal. Seems they too like to avoid competition too. Paypal ... no thanks. Fees on top of fees on top of fees! No wonder I hardly use the online car-boot site any more!
Plus if I were to buy luxury items off the intarwebs, then I would be wanting to buy direct from a reputable dealer where I can go and bash on the door if there's a problem!
Opposite this review there is a pane which says:
"MOST WANTED SMARTPHONES" (data provided by Expansys)
MWg Atom Life Windows Mobile 6 Edition — £199.95
HP iPAQ 614c with £50 Cashback Offer! HP iPAQ 614c with £50 Cashback Offer! — £344.95
HTC Touch Cruise HTC Touch Cruise — £399.95
HTC TyTN II HTC TyTN II — £469.95
Palm Centro Palm Centro — £179.95
Surely that list might have some bearing on the Top 10.
You mention that all headsets you have ever tried/reviewed are tinny and dont sound as good as having the phone next to your ear.
I suggest you try the Jawbone. www.jawbone.com
I bought into the marketing hype of this phone "Developed for the US military with state of the art noise reduction" etc. I gave the headset to my partner who used it on long motorway journeys, and her car is pretty noisy. Each time she called, I had to ask where she was, all I could hear was her voice with no background noise.
She also reported that the earpiece also blocks out amplification of background noise, thus when I was talking to her, she could hear me more clearly too.
Give it a review ... see what you think!
Only last month I was searching for an ISP for my father whom is stuck in the middle ages still using the internet via smoke signals! I was keen to get an isp which wouldnt restrict him with his internet usage, but would also not be subject to a 12 month contract. Tiscali met these requirements and at a price which was cheaper than his current telephone line only subscription from BT. Having dealt with lots of ISP's I was very impressed with Tiscali's ordering system and the automated progress emails. The line was up and running well before the date it stated and installation was a breeze without installing any other guff that was not required.
Virgin Media ... great network, overpriced and terrible company. Used to be much better as Telewest, but still overpriced!
Sky ... gah ... they just make money hand over fist.
100 Mbit Fiber.
A mate of mine has 100mbit fiber into his house in the UK. But then again he is the CIO of one of the best performing ISP's in the UK. He got the line installed for "offsite backups!" ;-)
I swear that someone in US government has a speech impediment. Since the "War on Terrorism" has now become a "War on Tourism". (pronounce with American accent!)
I've already had my fun and games with DHS "brutes" exerting aggressive nature while trying to enter their country to do work. I won't be going back for holiday reasons that's "fer-sure" !!
Cane Toad Bashing
I thought it was a national sport, playing cricket with Cane Toads.
Disclaimer to tree huggers: Im not supporting this act, merely pointing out it's an Aussie national sport!
The only addition that might tempt me to buy one is the video out port. To have portable video content that I can simply plug into any other TV. But then again ... Archos have that one covered!
