They seem to have told the lie enought times...
Reading the posts around here makes me think they have told the lies enought times.
People is starting to forget what this is all about... Remember the leaked documents? Anyone? If it wasn't "surprise sex" it would be drugs, guns, taxes or something else... You really forgot the leaked documents stuff? Next thing you'll be talking about 9/11 as an example of a terrotist act orchestrated by some guy in a cave in the middle east...
Well, the masses are like this anyway. As for me I'll keep sharpening my mind everyday, tirelessly. And one day, one day my dear sheeps, I'll be the one ruling you all :)
Weapons of mass destruction... some countries make them and get literally raped, others not only get away with it but even brag about it.
Re: Have we learned nothing....
Why do humans keep ignorant/incompetent people on the government, is something they will never understand...
After NSA scandal, this is not amusing anymore. Moving along, nothing to see...
Artists Imagination vs. one's own
So they give a rather fake/childish image of science but when people get closer to it and see the real thing they are scared and run away of its complexity.
People tend to think of science as mad scientist's stuff, and it's not. Science is everywhere, all around us.
Not only children, but the "masses" should be presented with realistic representations of science. That way people would get familiar with it, and they would get a real chance of understanding what is really going on. What about presenting both an informative chart, and a decorative illustration?
Re: What a shame
"But what can you do? It's part of the human condition."
I prefer to disagree and don't be okay with that last paragraph. I think we can even overcome dead. Not being okay with our current capabilities is exactly what this great people were/are made of, I hope we soon overflow the world with people like them.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

”his technician only added a Skype account”
I think that's all you need to do to start getting logged anyway.
"Microsoft plans to use intelligence gained in Operation b54 to work with ISPs and Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) around the world to quickly and efficiently clean as many computers as possible. "
They are going to install Linux ! :)
Re: Constitution and ammendments
that's why they called it "patriot" act, to blind.
so who was the one saying the chinese Human Flesh Search Engine was an outrageous thing for a civilized country? Guess if we call it "patriot" it sticks better. Thanks to the 9/11 inside job we're all eating it :/
Re: Anonymous vs Human Search Engine
"Human Search Engine" is China's "Anonymous"
Re: missing the point
China is nowadays being as capitalist as any other country around.
It's naive to think the US or the UK don't control their companies/population. Maybe they keep us dumb with the two parties movie and Fox news, but definitely there isn't any more "freedom" left.
Politicians aside. Nobody has been able to throw some tech data about how "unsafe" their products are. When you are working with chips, be it Motorola, Intel, or whatnot, you are working with a black box unless you have the full documentation/specification set available.
Finally, if you were a big company manager, chances are you'd do your industrial spying by bribing insiders, hell cheaper.
