When you search with ANY engine, you search the whole frikkin WORLD and that includes Google results,if you CHOOSE to use Google.

If using GOOGLE is so "difficult" to understand, there is always Bing or some other search engine. Google doesn't prevent you from using them unlike some operating system manufacturers I can think of.

Win 98 Second Edition fixed all the internet browser & stability issues and the majority of overall Windows problems. That was a vast improvement on Win 95 or 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups.

Truth be told, years ago McDonalds in Massachusetts ALREADY put up it's employees in small motels during the week and rent free to boot. And they paid better than minimum wages.

In 1977, I worked at a Burger King in Vail, Colorado slinging burgers and lived on the side of the mountain under a tarp.

Minimum Wage was $2.30 per hour and we were paid almost $7 per hour because of "free market forces". And guess what, the price wasn't significantly higher for the food.

For all you out there in La La Land who didn't know, trustworthy "Journalism" is dead now and MSNBC, Disney, and NBC are at the forefront of why. Why "report" the news when you can just make it up or even worse, make it happen? Creating drama can create not only website traffic but cause bullets to fly. One day, they'll get caught inciting a riot... Ooops, too late. They are caught up in a vicious cycle of "likes" being more important than truth.

All news media have an agenda now that colors the whole tone of their reporting. Used to be "Just the facts, Ma'am. Now it's "Does it follow the template we got from Obama or Hillary?"

Everything you see on TV can be manipulated in too many ways to consider. If you want the "real" news you have to look at it all in any form or source.

And most importantly, you have to make up YOUR OWN MIND!

Hillarity Clinton has repeatedly shown that she can't tell the truth since the days in Arkansas with Whitewater and scoffs at any law that might apply to her.

Most recently at the State Department she was deeply involved in a "pay to play" scheme where anyone who wanted some favorable decision from the state department had to hire Bill Clinton as a paid speaker. Let's not even get into the fact that she was derelict and negligent in her duties at the State Department, deleted emails from a server she legally wasn't supposed to use because they would prove "the haters" as you call them are completely correct about what happened at the Libyan Consulate.

Oh, and by the way she lies saying she's "just like us" when the Clintons are worth over a hundred million dollars.

I have been involved in flow measurement technology for 31 years and have a rather good understanding of the Coriolis effect and it is already being compensated for in many ballistics calculations particularly as it applies to spin drift of bullets which is what the article is about.

Complain all you want about my mention of rotation in drains and toilets, I only used that the give some reference to the uninitiated. You will note that the Coriolis effect does affect the way large weather systems rotate between the north and south hemispheres.

At several hundred yards or more, the effect on a bullet is significant.

They don't. Flash is simply a point of entry to the overall network. So a "Luser" clicks on an infected Flash file (How many Russian language emails with .zip attachments can you get before you figure something is up?), is on the same network as the POS systems and the exploit works it's way through to the POS equipment.

The real issue is why is there a reason to have the POS directly connected to a network that is facing the Internet. It should be on it's own segregated network. In fact, I wouldn't trust a VPN or use a subnet.

Just take them off the regular network entirely. The vendor who manages the POS should be required to come to the site and download any consumption data rather than using the Internet.

The drone pilot got what he deserved, the home owner has a right to privacy in his own yard. Let alone that I believe you have private airspace over your own property.

It is quite illegal in many states to point ANY surveillance camera on to anothers private property. The drone had a camera. The homeowner was concerned that the drone was "perving" on his daughters.

Most states have "Peeping Tom" laws as well. I say the drone pilot was guilty of BOTH infractions as well as criminal trespass. The gun owner was within his rights to shoot the drone down as it was just a "proxy" for a Peeping Tom.

Hell, we have hail here that frequently gets to the size of baseballs here and that's way more dangerous than No. 8 Birdshot. The homeowner shouldn't get charged with ANYTHING, even the offense of discharging a firearm within city limits which all towns have. He was defending his property and daughters against a potential pervert.

I am claiming private airspace rights up to 400 feet above my property so NO DRONES will overfly the boundaries of my property line.

Have an upvote for acknowledging the difference. Also sick and tired of the professionally "offended" clique out there. I was 13 in 1969 and remember ALL the shenanigans from both sides. Todays "professionally offended" haven't even come close to having similar reasons.

The fact remains that race, sex or gender is not the issue and never was, the willingness to work hard is. If you just want to live on the public dole and won't try to better yourself, then you get what you deserve and you have no right to criticize anyone.

use outside air when there is a low enough temp as filtered OA in the 60F to 65F or below range. This is known as "Free Cooling". Since many servers can now operate well enough with 70F air temps, that's plenty of cooling.

The days of chilled water or DX cooling to 50F discharge air is over unless it's free cooling or small systems. Or you have to de-humidify it if it gets over 60% rH. They even have good luck with "Swamp Coolers" (Evaporative cooling) in dry climates like the Middle East too. (Unlikely to happen in Blighty though)

We are NOT going to "put on another sweater" for the sole purpose of perpetuating the "Green" fantasy. My refrigerator will not be part of your load shedding program, nor will my lights and TV.

These schemes ONLY benefit the producers, not the consumers.

The Sun only shines on part of the Earth, part of the day. Then the Earth rotates and the Sun shines somewhere else. When that happens the wind speed decreases making wind turbines go off sync with their power frequencies.

Therefore, the only way for Humankind to benefit from Solar/Wind renewables is to create a worldwide electric grid system that can compensate for the way power availability from multiple sources changes rapidly. Even existing grid technology is not enough to compensate the system for the way electrical production from Wind and Solar increase and decrease. Thus, Wind and Solar producers are paid NOT to produce power when it upsets the grid.

The fact is that there is NO WAY that any "worldwide electric power grid" can happen in anyones lifetime. Just look at the gas pipeline issues from Russia and the politics there, let alone those in the Middle East or Africa. The very second someone's political nose is bent out of shape they will take their "ball and go home".

That leaves it down to individual nations to take care of their own power needs and that means most industrial countries will need Nuclear power IF the whole purpose of this exercise is to reduce the output of CO2.

If we are actually being honest about it, we will find that a combination of energy tactics (including fossil fuels) will likely win out over time but clamoring for us to reduce our personal consumption of energy and failing to address all the operative issues is more "pie in the sky" unworkable BS.

The term "Closer" is certainly a relative operator here. Didn't need to be exact distances except closer than a whole present day ocean. If you admit "it helped a lot of other species" why not the predecessors of mankind?

If you don't, then my hypothesis is no less valid than anyone elses. AFTR, no one has any proof it's wrong either.
