Erm, Draytek have been doing this for years on 28xx series. 2830n is about £180
Looks like Qnap interface
Those screen shots look very, very similar to my Qnap TS-469 Pro v4 firmware
The interface the same down to the icons!
Anything to do with Bitcoin mining?
It could be that a lot of AMD kit was purchased to mine bitcoin before ASICS started shipping.
Performance of the 7970s are quite awesome! Gave up with mining a long time ago but kept 2 for crossfire gaming and dont need to turn the heating on upstairs anymore!
Post of the week!
Thanks for sharing and quite informative from the Reg on a Friday afternoon! More of this type of thing!
Re: More and better support for 64-bit ARM chips
I think it is the same Eadon. Look at the footer:
www.eadon.com is powered by linux, apache, php and mySql.
For your safety, security and pleasure, this site contains no Microsoft software whatsoever!
The site really hurts my eyes.
Re: OT, what's with the sics then?
I thought it meant "Spelling is correct" [SIC] to prove that you are aware what you are quoting.
Re: It's over between us
Possibly one of the best Reg comments I have ever read.
If you were blind it would make sense just to have a B&W telly instead of a colour TV even if you do receive a discount. Just sayin'.
Hackers hacking the hackers?
Quote of the Week
"It's a bit like flushing a blocked toilet – you think the extra water might help clear things out, but in reality you just end up dealing with someone else's crap."
Absolute genius from Simon. More of this sort of thing!
Just as I was finding skype useful again.
BTW, does anybody else find that call quality gets worse the longer your call lasts?
Reminds me of an old Amiga Classic....
Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis!
Look at volcano...
Insert disk 9...
Was beginning to wonder where Simon aka BOFH had gone....
Glad to see we all can't stand the co-lo cloud either.
Good stuff! Can we have another episode before the summer?.....
That is all :)
No prizes for guessing what I'm doing this weekend...
And I've only justed patched my 2008 R2 boxes to SP1 and now this.... This could take a while as I have no WSUS anymore :(

Hearing about these claims...
Kinda makes you feel all glassy eyed!
I used to quite enjoy my HTC tyan a couple of years back. I always thought they were quite good until my nokia N95 and now N97. You could install so much stuff on those HTC phones even years ago. If you didnt mind it crashing everyday!!
No problems here....
Mines the one with an A-Z in the pocket...
Not too sure where you have been looking mate. Just upgraded my N95 today calling up three! TEE HEE. £38 a month
To the AC @ 21:27 re: Handle
The handle is on the box so you can carry it around with it's foam packaging in its box!
Shuttle's are very nice if you can afford them ;)

Is MAC OS so bad that...
The API is generally locked to change window appearance?

Best read in Ages!
Well done Simon BOFH has been brilliant this year! :)
Tom is right - RM are shocking
I agree with you Tom. I worked in a school as a network technician years ago with RM clients and an NT server, and it was shocking then. It's a shame to hear they have got no better, kids deserve more than sub-standard IT equipment from these goons.
Maybe it's time to coin a phrase that has been used a lot on El Reg lately.....
DO NOT WANT!
Great work Simon!
Thanks for a great laugh on a boring Friday afternoon! 10/10
Brilliant - I couldn't of put it better myself :)
