You'd have to be as dumb as a bag of spanners to think this is a new invention.
Fortunate they still have plenty of fanboys that will believe just that..
Excellent,
I'll take 2.
It's a bit late for that.
Re: @moiety
"Then keep them on your own computer."
So by your logic you cease to own your car if you park it in the street.
Re: I wish the world would disintermediate the need for dickheads
Time to build ourselves a 'B' Ark.
Re: Pass the tissues
We need a naughty step.
Or at least a 'knickers in a twist' icon.
Also unable to see the difference between depression with suicidal tendencies and making shit up.
Re: EFF = Energetic Frivolous Fools
"They don't represent me nor my interest, thank you."
Then why are you so upset?
Someone call the hurty feelings police, I'm about to cry and someone needs to pay.
Re: im in 2 minds about this.
"I have a few 'friends' on there that seem to think that they own 'their' page. Asin if I was to post something on there they didn't like, they would act asthough I had defaced their property, the same as graffiti on their house/car whatever."
That's basic internet protocol/manners. A persons webspace should be treated like an extension of their home whereby the owner sets the rules. So just like someone's living room, if you walk in a start talking crap they have every right to evict your ass.
Re: The usual.
How did you manage to confuse 'coke dealers' with 'cartel financiers'?
@Oli 1
Apparently you are wrong.
According to Dotcom, Megabox will only be taking 10% of profits, the rest goes to the artists.
Re: Great
".... the fine ultimately comes out of taxpayers pockets."
How? All that happened is that money would be taken from funds given to the CPS by the government and given back to said government. The tax payer loses nothing.
I agree with the unaccountability bit though.
Re: analysts BS
"Sorry iHaters, just had to post this on el Reg where Apple haters love to congregate."
At least outside the mutual appreciation echo-chambers of the fanboy forums you can appear a tiny bit like an individual.
@Chris Rowland
So, you want people to be fined/jailed because you joined the wrong forum and didn't have mummy there to protect you?
Legislating against hurty feelings is the epitome of a nanny state.
What next? The ministry of 'There, there. let me kiss it better.'
"Sneering like that makes you look fifteen years old, max"
The lack of self awareness and irony in your post is fucking priceless.
Total iphone orientation.
Hig Hurtenflirst, the risingest young executive in the Dolmansaxlil Shoe Corporation must now be consulting for Apple.
Re: this is radio
When I read the article "to suit all budgets" i thought to myself, I bet the cheapest one will be around £100 and I was spot on, the writers here are out of touch with reality when it comes to some peoples finances.
Esther Rantzen on Radio 4.
"There are those who want to access internet porn but caring loving parents....."
There you have it, anyone who opts out of filtering isn't a 'caring loving parent'.
How long will it be before they insist on lists of these defective parents?
Pissing on the achievements of great men.
Is that how you get your jollies?
Does it help you feel less the pathetic failure you obviously are?
I have news for you, it isn't working.
Now fuck off back to your hoaxer crazy pit where you belong.
"the barking wing of the Fox News Party"
Someone buy that man a pint.
Re: what phone?
I threw one of those against the wall in anger and all that happened is the case got cracked as it flew apart, It worked perfectly well afterwards, once I found the battery that is.
They should take inspiration from Apple and call it the pOS.

Don't get upset, if you can dish it then you should be able to take it.
Re: Fools rush in...
They haven't attacked yet, so it would seem they are wiser than you give them credit.
Re: Its a MMORPG !
"Do you expect blizzard to manufacture TWO ENTIRE VERSIONS of the game, one to go on your SINGLE PLAYER LOCAL INSTALL and one to run CLIENT/SERVER ?"
That's right, name me one game that has both offline single-player and online multi-player
It just doesn't happen.
Re: re: So...people actually complain about this stuff?
My neighbour is a perfect example of that.
She believes everything she sees on TV or in print because 'They're not allowed to lie'.
I dread to think what would happen if she ever used email.
The most frightening thing I can imagine in world politics is a Republican landslide victory this coming November.
Re: What about?
Taking industrial action on behalf of a third party is illegal in the UK.
Re: is it shit or is it good? is it shit or is it good?
Sorry, lost me at 'touch support'.
@ NogginTheNog
I do that regularly with my cordless keyboard, bit of washing up liquid in the bath and a good clean with a shaving brush cleans it up nicely. Plenty of running water to rinse then a day on end by the radiator and it comes up like new.
Even gaming rigs don't need to be upgraded so often as most games are being written with 5 year old console technology in mind, you will always have the enthusiast wanting the latest upgrades but for most purposes a 3 year old machine can handle almost every game released today with no problems.
Re: Wow
"This man is truly enlightened."
So that's the end of him sitting in anymore copyright cases then.
Re: Holy sh*t...
Using our ever expanding knowledge to bash science doesn't make sense.
Re: Wonderful by-line
This 'treaty' has been rejected therefore it's legality is a none issue.
I have no idea why some people are looking to this review as though it would change anything, just because a court decides that something is legal doesn't have any bearing on whether it has to be passed or whether it is sensible or acceptable.
ACTA is dead and although some may not like the fact they have to understand this is how democracy works and get over it.
Happy 4th of July America, how do you like the present?
You'll be claiming that they don't ban big winners next. That makes them parasites in my book.
Re: Revolutionary Zeal in Cyberspace is EMPoweringly Addictive and Anonymously Attractive
The Plain English Campaign would have a field day with your posts.
[pitiful wailing] Whahh, they're selling better phones than ours, make them stop, make them stoooop....[/pitiful wailing]
No evidence of Mermaids.
Proves there is a conspiracy to cover up all the evidence.
So if they are covering up the evidence then Mermaids must be real.
Or something....
Re: Nothing will change
Just like the Sunday Sun then.
A question to the downvoters.
Which dogmatic side should I agree with:
1: There is no Anthropomorphic Climate Change
2: some undefined apocalypse.
Re: Also
"Creationism is on the rise"
So is hollow earth, 2012 apocalypse and any other nutcase idea that David Icke might be promoting.
Just because the internet has allowed these nut jobs to mutually reinforce their delusions doesn't mean anything to rational sphere living, sun orbiting, 2013 holiday planing normality.
