Pretty clear verizon is being anti-competitive. Probably trying to force people in to use verizon on-demand streaming options instead of letting that money slip away to netflix.

Stuff like this doesn't happen less its an inside job, they can deny it all they want but chances that a rogue outside hacker that gets this kinda axx are insanely remote. They would need source access and time to modify the source and make sure it work's.

Problem with all this, AMD includes gpu as part of cpu's performance, well issue with that is NOT ALL programs use gpu properly or even at all, only a few do.

they already had the ipad at 6-700$ and laptop at 1000ish$. On top of that Apple don't know how to make a cheapish, they believe they can crap in a box and it will sell for 100$

AMD claims 500watts, but most tests show single 290x's pulling more like 300 watts so this card most likely in the end will eat closer to 600watts. 2x8pin's per specs are 150watts each (they can do more but still)

Comes down to scope of the contracts, if netflixs contract for licensing doesn't restrict Australia then not much they can do legally. They can try to push for laws to block them but in the end it will just piss off the people. They have to tread lightly on this cause pissing people off and blocking access to content in hopes they come to them for it ends up having completely opposite effect.

Yea NPE Patent trolls and Apple are 2 sides of the same coin. Both are patent trolls but in reality apple hasn't done anything since 2010 cept their normal year updates which are barely even updates anyway.

Even Apple won't get away with selling a tv for 2-3 times what rest the makers are. Yes that is what Apple WOULD do, just to keep their profits where they want them. Most tv makers lose money, only a few even make money and then its only a little bit.
