Again your lying , you do not putt 7" tablet in your back pocket, it barley fits in a coat pocket. I know because I have a kindle touch, and that barely fits in my trouser pocket and that's only because I'm massive! Over 5 Inches goes in a bag, and if you have problems holding an ipad with your wrist I suggest you go to a gym once in a while! sweet jesus

1) Apple created the market , with the likes of you saying it was a toy and would never take off, sounds like a woman's sanitary product etc. etc. ...sssshhhh there's a good lad.
2) People get the 7" BECAUSE IT IS CHEAPER! , The bigger screen gives a better experience, but if it was a choice between the two at the same price, who do you think would win. you utter utter cretin.

What I would like to know is..
Which manufacturer sells the most high end smart phones , becuase thats the most important stat, becuase that will show you whose making the actual money in the market. Rim is the only one so you can see how they are performing . Aplle is the only maker of iOS so you can see how they are performing. However the Andriod is made up of every manaufacturer , which means you cant tell which within that group is the biggest and best performing.
When this is done for PCs it is split out by company, why not for phones? and also why is the total number of phones, never mentioned , if we don't know how big the pie is, and whether it has shrunk or not, just using percentages is useless!

Thank god , you have saved this thread, I was just about to post, its not what share you have of the cake, its how big the cake is. If the same number of tablets have been sold , as the previous year, but Apples share has gone down, then they will be in trouble. If on the other hand the size of the market for tablets grew, but apple are still selling all they can make, then somehow I don't think they will be worrying.
The simple fact of the matter is that Apple dont care about size , as long as they make money on what they sell.
Anecdotally, I see a lot of iPads, iPhones , Kindles and S3's on the way to work, and I use both bus, tube and train , so it seems that people are just buying more of everything.
