Ilm not sure why people turned this into an apple vs android thing. Just to note, it turned out the Bruce willis / itunes thing turned out to be completely false.

Not that it really matters given itunes music is drm free now and has been for sometime.

You can laugh but Microsoft's only edge has only ever been that it was released 1 year early. If their sales remained the same but they were launched at the same time, Microsoft would have been beaten a long time ago. This is the best Microsoft can do is rely on launching a year early and still end up losing out.

There are stories on the front page to cover every opinion. This one to say everyone is eating into Apple's share and one saying Apple is gonna be king with Windows and android fighting it out. It's all par for the course for the reg in its attempt to mention Apple as many times as possible

Telecommuting isn't anymore a security risk than off-shoring and you don't get double taxed, especially if you've never been inside the US. I'm not sure where you get your info from but it's crap.

Employers just don't like telecommuting because they assume everyone will slack off.

No matter what the daily mail wants you to believe there isn't actually that much real crime on a day to day basis.

Secondly, no every cop is cut out for fighting rreal crime. That's why they've even been known to be handing out bike lights at my local train station.

That said, I'm sure they do like Apple products. They also like mentioning Apple as often as possible to get the fandroids frothing. The more often people comment the more often ads get viewed.

My problem with Amazon is their books only work on platforms they decide to support. So I don't really care if it turns out books are cheaper through amazon getting their way. I'd rather pay more for a DRM-free book.

Companies are seeing it as they're dumping a load of money into google's pockets for something they can do. This is a good thing if it results in more people contributing to openstreetmaps

But hopefully some people can refrain from vandalising it.

Oh wow, the 360 now outsells the wii, a system nintendo considers done and is being replaced in a couple months.

The wii was still at 90 million units while the 360 was like at 60 million so it has some time to catch up even if the wii goes away completely tomorrow.

The wii was horribly unpowered and lack all those "must have" features and it still creamed the 360. At this point who cares if the 360 manages to beat a dying system.

Why would you need to buy every version of any phone? Surely any phone will last more than a year or two so it's wasteful to buy every new model whether it's an Iphone or something else.
