TalkTalk? LieLie more like ..

I spent ages looking for the best deal, (foolishly) signed up with TalkTalk and .. they increased the price in the FIRST MONTH!

Having said that, those of you who have signed up with Virgin need to keep an eye on your bills. I let the missus look after things, only to discover that after 3 years, they'd increased the price from £25/month to £38/month.

That's an average price increase of around 23% a year.

Clearly, the fastest thing about Virgin are the price increases.

And they kept pulling TV stations.

Not sure who to go with next, but it's definitely neither of the above ..

.. for Nokia to start knocking out some decent Droids.

The Lumia looks OK and from what I recall, the specs weren't bad. I could be tempted .. if it ran Android.

Punting a few Droids might not fit with the Take-Back-the-World Elop-vision, but Nokia's way past the big come back. Now it's all about stayin' alive and that means getting some products out there that people will buy. It needs a toe-hold in the market and a couple of decent Droids could do that faster than any other strategy.

They may not own the market, but Samsung are doing pretty well with the dreaded Droids.

Wouldn't stop Nokia selling W8 phones either, though they'd probably lose a chunk of MS change.

Momentum is SO strong ..

.. and the rest of their senior team a billion or more

The €20/month is WITHOUT a subsidised phone.

Add the full cost of a smartphone and you're looking at around €50/month - good for France, but a bit s**t for everywhere else .. at least, everywhere else in Europe.

I know of 2 cops who were dismissed because they found a bottle of lemonade and drank it instead of handing it into lost property - with no press being involved. You really think a WPC, caught up in a national scandal, is going to get away with it if she's guilty?
