Re: I wonder..
Chinese companies will pick this up in the next few years. Samsung has everything to lose, not Apple. Hardware manufacturing is easy.
And that is why a monopoly by Samsung is a bad thing. Everybody that doesn't like Apple will be happy, untill you all have to pay more for your mobiles/tablets/microwave ovens.
Wow... you didn't bother clicking one button to go back to the "old" look?
I would add Terra Nova to that list.
So does that mean there are actually people who buy Android tablets? Wow.
Wow
Kinda funny to read another head-in-the-sand article about climate. I guess we will leave the problems to future generations then... that has worked very well in the past.
Laggggg
A lot of reviews are mentioning input lag compared to IPhone/WP7.
Quad core and lag? Amazing.
"the supply of which is effectively infinite"
Yeah... I think I have found the flaw in your plan. How many times in the past have people used natural resources as effectively infinite? Look what happened there.
There is also no such thing as a free lunch.
Bad news?
Wait? Offering an inferior product is now bad news for your competitors? On what planet is that?
Specs
And you are going to use this "power" for what exactly?
Battery life is much more important.
Re: real coders use notepad
I thought real programmers used : Copy Con > Program.exe
Re: Two points:
Because VS is vastly superior maybe?
Just make sure the icons can be changed easily and I am sure some cool guys will have a whole set of awesome icons 1 day after release. Nuff said.. case closed.
Well the (Android) men have to have something to show off their ePeens vs teh cool iOS kids.
Fail headline
Headline is wrong. They are melting but new extra ice is formed at the top of the mountains and that compensates (probably from more water in the air).
Hot air balloon loses some air? Water is wet.
" If I would need to select between Windows XP and a Linux based system while building a military system"
If building a military system, I wouldn't use any of them TBH.
Dual core?
Let me know when dual core mobile phones offer something extra.
Wow... ugliest slide evar???
True...
It is very weird they continued to pull up. You natural instinct in a stall is even to go down and increase speed, your body can usually feel a stall. All very strange. Then again I have never experienced a stall in a big plane like that, maybe you don't feel it.
>or much more extreme events should have occurred at certain points in the past - and they did not
Errrr??? I guess it depends on what you would describe as "extreme".
What about the almost total wipeout of see-life during the Permian–Triassic extinction ?
Oh you are one of those...
Case closed I guess.
See... that is the thing. Yeah that Cheddar cheese you had on your sandwich is from Australia and it is indeed too cheap. Local food needs to become cheaper compared to imported from 8000 miles away.
Joke?
Is this article a joke? Energy is still WAY too cheap. Our whole planet has become addicted to cheap energy and we are doing silly stuff as a result.
"It is super safe! ". People have said that about all secure payment schemes in the past, you underestimate the creativity of people who steal and the technology available to organised crime to deal with this new electronic payment system.
It is called marketing.
Yeah it is the 80s all over again I see.
Number of cores is no measurement of the speed of a device (just like bits).
Reminds me of the 80s... where games consoles used to wave bits around to pretend they havd more power than a less endowed competitor.
Oh well.. I guess there will be idiots who will want a "QUAD CORE!!!!" phone.
Was I the only one reading this as "great games for the Five Xperia Play users"?.
I got an SSD last year as a boot disk and I will NEVER go back. The best thing that happened to my PC in years. W7 boots up in just 7 seconds. PCs should come standard now with SSD boot disks IMHO, it just makes the whole "computer" experience so much better for all users.
What? Google copying something? Madness!
I wish I could punch smack-talking teenagers through the telly every now and then. A lot of these young kids spew out more nonsense than Eyjafjallajoekull.
He shouldn't really care that much about Android since a lot of Android makers are paying MS some good money for IP.
So why is Google copying it then?
It is an email client people... what is "relevant" or "not relevant" about reading some text from other people on the planet? Seriously.
What seems to be relevant is the need for internet people to be "edgy" and "emo" about just anything nowadays.
At least Hotmail is not an excuse to ad-spam me (yet).
Sure *not* being able to do this on an iPhone is a good thing.
As expected TBH.
Most Android users probably want an iPhone but went for a copy-cat Android because of price.
Storm in a glass of water. Surely this will just be a setting in your boot-setup screen?
Buy it I certainly won't.
I like my Star Wars untouched please.
Naive
Seriously... did all the Android hardware companies think that they would get a free lunch?
Future?
"been unable to see any kind of future for himself"
After living the life of a millionaire for 10 years I don't think he has to complain.
Lol
Can Google get even more pathetic?
