"5 rounds rapid"
int init_structure(struct my_structure** s)

The whole SWAT or whatever team deciding to walk into the church. There must have been at least one properly trained soldier amongst them.
you can thank Charlie McCreevy's Decentralisation plan for that...
perroflauta is just brilliant. I used it correctly in Malaga last August, much to the delight of my Spanish friends.
I'm still using Paint Shop Pro but I haven't updated it for years. And yes you are right, Corel ruined it.
The only thing I watched on BBC3 was Orphan Black, and the odd Doctor Who catch up (iPlayer is not available in Ireland). Hopefully OB will get moved to BBC2.
Clown Noob News?
As well as the digusting sounding "rimshot"
Likewise chromosomic makeup. Either the person is fit for the job; or not. Race, sex, religion, football team or any other "identifier" will not indicate suitability for a job.
yes, and EGNOS in the EU
NEWS JUST IN!!! America shock-jock and all round loon refers to Republicans as "racists, sexists [and] bigot homophobes."
...when the must-have phone was a Motorola Razr? Or a Blackberry?
Enjoy it while it lasts Samsung, but it might not last long.
"Sorry, something went bad, and your vote has not been recorded. Please drop a note to firstname.lastname@example.org! [TEE-1357826997000]"
>No I'm not a phone developer, but is the above pseudocode really that hard?
No not hard at all, but it barely scratches the surface of the requirements for different screen sizes. You also have to consider image scaling and font sizing. Also your pseudo code is going to add a lot of 'interesting' aspect issues...
It ships with Google Maps
"I konw every inch of this cell and it knows every inch of me. Except one."
some of us have access to High Definition Scanners so it's Pointclouds away!
Apple have always 'scaled up' their products. They know they can do an iPad Mini Retina, and that will come out next year. And repeat sell to the people who buy this model. They did the same with the iPhone; Provide a substandard product at the start and then add the features that you could get from other products AND make money while doing so because last years user wants to be this years user.
App developers who want to develop for the Retina4 display but don't want to buy phone that's pretty useless at making and taking phone calls.
...Jimmy Saville, is it not???
Might be worth holding onto. Unless you have a stpry behind it that you can sell to the newspapers for a large amount of wedge.
Indeed, if the phone cannot see the GPS satellites then it cannot triangulate using that method. If there are no geo-located WiFi stations, then it can't use WPS. And CPS using cell tower triangulation is only accurate to 20m-50m.
It managed to flag Airfield House (which is a farm up the road from me) as an airport.
Hitman and Resident Evil. Though I think the saving grace was I never played the games in the first place.
BTW, the biggest turd is missing from the list: Wing Commander. Boy was that a space dump.
Yeah, they were removing nail clippers at Dublin Airport too- and then in duty free there were magazines with free manicure sets (sissors and nail clippers) for sale.
I once asked one of the securitrons how did they ensure that the (expensive) bottled water for sale in the duty free area had been deweaponised?
"The week before leaving on vacation was hell. Despite me giving my clients plenty of warning and asking them not to send me work later than usual, almost all of them did precisely that."
Yep, sounds like the week I spent before going to Spain. Right now all my clients are getting 'yep, I'll get onto that when I get back off holiday' auto-responses (5 so far).
My view on it is: You are free to use my unsecured wifi as long as I am free to use your unsecured data flowing thru my wifi- you know, data wants to be free and all that...
I knew there was a reason why Dabsie is my favorite hack- an Psion owner and a CIXen to boot.
And iof you hadn't mentioned it at the end of the article I would have flagged the Logitech keyboard- I'm currently writing this on one.
Isn't this the outfit that uses a mask created by Alan Moore/David Lloyd? How much are they paying in royalties then?
I can see these becoming highly desirable for remote delivery of contraband...
Exactly my thoughts- She comes across as a lot more vulnerable here and I'm not sure that's a good thing. However, that could just be a part of the game- She could get progressively confident as the game progresses. Kinda reminds me of when I last the latest production of Evita- I thought the leads voice was very weak and not up to the job at the beginning but as the show went on it got more assertive (and impressive). I thought it was a very clever device.
Looks like Apple are going to join everyone else and move to the Micro-USB connector.
Just realised- the TI99/4a was a 16 bit micro so wasn't eligible for this list.
What about the C&VG cover Thompson Twins game?
The Four Yorkshiremen was an 'At Last The 1948 Show' sketch. Okay, it did star John Cleese and Graham Chapman but the other 2 Yorkshiremen were Tim Brooke Taylor and Marty Feldman.
Hall of the things deserves to be there somewhere.
Tim Brooke Taylor??? Luxury!
someone with a bit of start up capital has to think that an Android running on the 5MX style hardware would be a great business idea.
Maybe we should get a few interested parties together and put it up on KickStarter. I wonder if the El Reg Labs are currently vacant...
I can see this being very useful in the field of LIDAR scanning
A few Eagles are gifted??? I have 39 of the buggers (none paid for).
yeah, and what about all the iPaq and Psion series 3 and 5 owners...
yeah- I bought them too. I'm saving them for a long plane journey next week.
I was able to complete all the levels (including the Eggsteroid ones) with 3 stars in about 2 hours.
I do think the DVD argument is the best way to defend this. No licence payer gets the DVDs for free, so why should an alternative method of content delivery be any different?
Another example would be: We in the Republic of Ireland indirectly pay a fee for the UK channels. But this means that we don't even get the version of iPlayer that's available in the UK. We get the Worldwide version; some free content but the rest is €6.99 a month.
He died last Saturday, I've been re-reading The Incal since (and The Long Tomorrow and The Airtight Garage).
That episode was responsible for me hacksawing off the front of my Eagle Lander.
But the revelation about the resited screws has just given me a nerdgasm.
I don't see how this is any better than the (ad free) FilmOn which was reviewed earlier this week.
