Not used to

"They are very large animals that are not used to being kept as pets [...]"

As opposed to, say, cats who are born pre-accustomed to being kept as pets? From their previous lives?

Re: We love our commie friend on the other side of the world but..

Of course, there is no corruption in the so-called democratic societies of the West, so it HAS to be a good solution for this.

Re: The moon as a staging point

If Wikipedia is to be believed, Earth's gravity is 90% as strong as at sea level at the ISS's altitude. In that case, it can't be that useful as a staging area.

Revolutionary label to focus on streaming as downloads falter

Wyrmhole

Uncanny

So they were charging for downloads/CDs while offering free streams, and finding that people were choosing to stream. What an unexpected trend. Sure justifies the "who needs downloads" conclusion.

Yet another USB <bla-bla>

What would really be useful(!) is a panic button that is small enough to be attached to a keychain and, when pressed, emits "oh noez! the green phosphorescent liquid escaped its containerz!!11"-type alarm sounds. So when you're in any kind of sticky situation, even if away from a computer, you can take out the panic button, flip the cover, press it and save your friends with the power of laughter. <insert happy ending icon here>
