Mechanical
None of these are sexy, they are all boxes with electronic gubbins that you can't see working. A difference engine, or an analytical engine are sexy.

Cluster
Finally you can buy more than one. The plan to build an array - the "Raspberry Pi & Clustard" (TM) is back on.
Does it work now?
I tried this ages ago, and while it would let me create check lists on the pc, the android application would not allow me to then check them off. Seemed absurd to me that they couldn't get something that simple right. The PC application was also a resource hog. I changed to Springpad which was simple and got all that right.
Have they now improved? Before I got the impression that if you had an iwhatever it was good, but it was dreadful on android.
Wally got there first

Re: Seriously?
Never had a problem with it myself
They are mobile!
People in the office who leave their phones on their desks and then walk off drive me potty. The thing rings and rings and their is no one to answer it. I'm always tempted to dunk their phone into their tea for them.
How many phones get killed because of fed up office colleges?
More Pond
I thought Amy Pond wasn't going to be in it anymore. I was going to quit watching on account of it being rubbish but I might have to continue now.
Move to SD
Think they need to produce and read a wikihow on moving apps to the SD card.
Dilbert

Not sure why this is getting so many down votes. The swearing added absolutely nothing to the article, and it wouldn't exactly have been difficult to find something else to use as an example. I'd suggest a change of pictures in the article, and a bit more thought next time.
ton tonne
Yes he did. Tonne - metric, Ton - imperial.
Why are they? The ladies could always help with the aiming.
lots of money
I just couldn't justify more on a phone than I'd spend on a laptop.
How much?
"YouGov said £250 is the price people want to pay for tablets."
I wasn't aware that I wanted to pay anything for one!
Have you read a book on an e-ink screen? It is very very good. I struggle to even read a report on a computer screen let alone a novel, and have no intention of trying to on a fondleslab.
Battery life of a month or more on a kindle. You will be a long long time waiting if you want that on a fondleslab.
The point being?
And the point of this is?
