No more Service Packs for Microsoft Office? HA! Think again, Ballmer!

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

Re: Oops. I'm ten years behind

"For example, instead of shipping the first major update to Windows 8 as a Service Pack, Microsoft dubbed that release Windows 8.1" .. AlReg should know that just because of this 8.1 adventure .. MS had to release Win Server 2012 R2 too (think vista-win7 Vs 2008-2008R2) .... so this frequent full OS refresh cant go far. with 8.2 would there be Win Server 2012 R3 !?! i highly doubt ....

Qualcomm slips out new Snapdragon hardness to gush 4K vids into palms

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

WinPho/Android Sanpdragon 800/805 still DirectX-9.0c

Thing is MS pushed WinPho so hard down the throats of ppl to succeed, yet they didnt want to release any android killing homegrown secret sauce... They still released and releasing WinPho on a DirectX-9.0c hardware (DX9.0c released Aug-2004) .. when if they truely would have wanted to double cross android they could have partnered snapdragon/samsung etc for a hardware with DX-11.x .... this shows that even when companies are desperate to succeed they are still slave of their marketing department's thinking. another example is BB Q10 and Q5 keyboards instead of Q5 atleast retaining that quality "keyboard" RIM delibratetly lowered its keyboard quality too. So Snapdragon 805 to me is nothing... in very few months they will have to abandon it anyway to cling to x64 bandwagon. and then in few more months they will start "EDUCATING" we/us lame public how DX-11 on phone is good for us.

Fast is the new Black: WD gives laptops' spinning rust a new whirl

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

Re: Humgh

for God sake WD,.. slow down hdd no matter down to 4000 rpm but make it power adapter free. develop some desktop RED series with 4TB ..powered by USB .. not AC adapter... u can call this segment "semi-portable" where user will get RED quality robustness to carry around in car etc i.e. moderate shock environments and 4TB desktop class space... there are discusisons on internet showing desktop hdds theoratically capable of USB power sufficient at low rpms. how about USB powered myCloud series !?!

Apple handed Samsung-busting nuke after Steve Jobs patent U-turn

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

Re: From TFP..

How about Samsung says our touch screens and multitouch etc are for stylus... not fingures as Apple patent claims... we dont know why are people using fingures on our screens !?! our they can say our screens are developed to work with gloves not fingers as apple patent applies. these are not meant to be used with bare hands but we cant stop people for doing so :P .... samsung we are with you.. take no prisoners... send the apple down to where it belongs.. in the lap of steve.

Surface 2 MYSTERY: Haswell's here, so WHY the duff battery life?

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

Re: Correction: Surface Pro 2 Core i5 dual core NOT Core i7 quad core

Also all people failing to figure out here is that... Surface was using SD-Card as storage not SSD. the latency of SD-Card was miserable and CPU had to drag along... perhaps even CPU couldnt fig out when to idle is data was coming at crawl speed but not pausing to idle cpu. Surface 2 is using SSD hence releaving cpu too.

Give it a wrist, fellas: Sony's back with $200 Android Smartwatch 2

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

No smartwatch product will survive unless it has atleast few months of battery time (eink) and zero bazle having rectangular shape... all current products are fuckin bastards fooling people around. Seiko has most potential (current can run 1year) but they are not playing their cards to the fullest... perhaps blackmailed on hands of rolex to clone their needle designs and ultra realistic mimicking of mechanical displays on eink display. Seiko if u want throw apple in dustbin of history at wristwatches then release the little larger, zero bazel version of ...

Can you trust 'NSA-proof' TrueCrypt? Cough up some dough and find out

Re: Honey pot

In few years the next revelation will be like how intel was providing NSA a backdoor at level no one imagined.. i.e. closest to metal .. right incide their cpus... they might be mixing known info defused with encrypted info. As known info can be figured out from encryted data hence deriving the key. can anyone calibrate the traffic between NSA and Intel headoffice servers!?!

Thnk of intel's Tick Tock. with every tick there is a total overhual. so plz instead of decieving people... try to understand why the guy would have said something "seemingly" irrational.

Google swaps out MySQL, moves to MariaDB

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

Re: And Again

Nokia, Salesforce, Azure are proponents of MySQL. I hate Oracle too but you forum people being the intellects and mantors for youth following you, they expect more rightious writings... not just occupy wallstreat, win8.1 is shit and gay rights advocacy. From early to mid 2000s their is a large number of youth distroyed on hands of mantors in forums and writers who pumped so much air in java balloon that instead small university thrusted C# ppl won and became lords over that java majority. Server2012/R2 are winning, C# guys are prevailing and most Java guys are dragging on roads like once unemployed russian nuclear scientists. pitty is, those java guys even couldnt get chance of reaching that high to go unemployed. Tell your followers that although MySQL is bad.. companies are paying similarly to RedHAT also .. i.e. "support". isnt it happocracy of openshource worshippers!?! also tell them Google and giants want to save millions on that support for "their good", and are injecting poison in you for their pockets. It will be your company paying where mySQL prevails not you as employee. afterall SQLServer is also bought and comissioned in companies... But if Oracle is daviating from the explicit guarantees it gave to EU while buying SUN that it will not derail mySQL and mind it that guarantee took 1 year from oracle to reach EU .. not just oracle masturbated this guarantee of "ya ya okay"... and for that 1 year that SUN buyout deal remained frozen just because of this one product mySQL. This also mean that intellects on forums also saying that EU is a shity org too.

Windows 8.1: Microsoft's reluctant upgrade has a split-screen personality

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

I see most of people here are linux worshipers not just worshipers but the type of who could not get their super coold words of advice in Linux itself. Other people are like the one who are the first to reach venues like occupy wallstreat, gay rights defenders etc ... or they are the people who got job at some office and all they do is wander around and complain this wall should be there, that corridor is not a shortcut to there, all the paintings are too metro type... come on... plz give urselves a gentle flying-kick-fuck and go to ur desk start working at that office. whatever the enviroment is .. open ur excel or whatever tool and concentrate on ur work... also mind it that Windows-server-2012-R2 will also be based on as per ur words.. SHIT.. .so if MS is basing its R2 on shit .. who r u to complain!?!

Seagate REJECTED buyout offer for Virident – analyst

Muhammad Imran/mi1400

secret plan... my aassss

Basically Seagate is pretending in some high esteemed egoistic mutlated form of balmer. who does not look down while walking, it makes watch WD etc walking around too. anyway thing is since EVs are a "stopgap" for hydrogen fuel cells. ARM are a stopgap for MIPS. seagate is in wishful thinking that NAND is "stopgap" for ReRAM and similar. And over that seagate thinks that competitors already have milked this NAND cow so hard that blood might start oozing out any time soon... seeing Samsung-840-Pro it seems to look like right now.. as samsung had to do Vertical NAND and overclock controller memory. So disbanding of NAND could be in 1-2 years cuz HP ReRAM is very close to production. All said and done i hate seagate to my guts over this thinking... and wish WD all the best to start with NAND and parallel invest in HP ReRAM i.e. Friend of its Friend Hynix. So much of ur secretive plans Seagate ... [SPIT] ...

And Ahan ... one more thing... there is no 3.5" drive with enough low power to exploit USB voltages... their is still a HDD segment vacant where NO AC adapter 4-TB "semi" portable HDDs could be deviced to use just USB voltage. i have seen articles where 3.5" desktop WD drives in normal/lower throughput mode use power just what USB can deliver ... the problem was the drive any second can decide to go in higher performance state hence disapear from DeviceManager. WD has to just cap/throtle that and release a robust RED version being performance conservative (no problem) but delivering on AC adapter free operation. So much of ur secretive plans Seagate ... [SPIT] ...

You are right! ... also all these watch makers are scared as shit over making rolex running bankrupt... cuz rolex will inturn sue their ass off.. think of replicting rolex display on LCD... thats why these devices are ugly as shit. then the battery is 4 days... and above that websites including alReg worshiping and bowing to 4days charge saving their sorry asses from 1day... this phenomenon is same as car websites never let u know fuel efficient petrols ... if u search for 40mpg cars they start spitting ay ur face with hybrid models. this phenomenon is same as u can never find a laptop ... they let u do 8GB or better, this CPU or better ... and spit on ur face cpus of higher clock but crappy generation. then alReg who like PiedPiper is taking god knows what fools behind them of look we are going to make LOHAN... yay lets eat shit! and rejoice and thank heavens! ... when they could use the makerbot fever in contstructive use say server class laptops ... alReg never tires from praysing seamicro but instead of keeping itself with IT .. they chose to yank off for some space odessy... afterall they have mint money on their home turf of starwars fanboys/pons. The beast what such wristwatches have come to is from eInk seiko, capable of 1year juice thanks to e-ink tech. else and for bezzel less, larger wrist covering results we should for example rip the eINK display from SamsungNote3's "SViewCover" use makerbot for housing, battery and minor self made PCB to send displays. trust me these Wimm, Sony, Nano, Mirasol not atleast for next 3-5 years will reach u the form factor of ur dreams. and only Mirasol/eInk tech can save.

So what should u do then...!?! you can use molding skills to develop server HW hosting laptops... there are 15Watt Opterons from AMD but no one is fitting them in lappies.. writting articles about seamicro should have enlightened you of why not throw this HW in laptop forfactor.. hell people you could have been rightnow around of how to fit tapedrive in that formfactor and likes of that...

how naive techies can be at al-reg is astonishing... oracle making it expensive has wisdom behind... they cant kill oracle's main DB... they cant pull plug on MySQL to avoid wrath similar to Oracle vs HP... they want to slowly poison MySQL to such a level that till then all major stake holders would have run away by then and after that Oracle will announce that since it is investment burden and no more economically feasable to continue they are disbanding the project, i read this bitch line somewhere else few months back... i guess nokia saying ditto same for QT development.

US deploys robot submarine armada against Iranian mines

Muhammad Imran/mi1400
Paris Hilton

US = iran

1st ... Iran is NOT an Islamic/Muslim country (what it says on the the tin is not always true)

2nd ... US and Iran are just showing off .. and later US will say O' shit they got nuclear weapons despite our efforts... Saudi Arabia either will start then an uphill battle to starts its own deterent which US wont let or Ask Pakistan for warheads (KSA already has 1-division of Pak Army at its 24/7 standby/disposal).

3rd ... From Iraq war the most benifit any country has obtained is iran... shite govt (but wont last long)

4rth ... From Afghanistan war the most benifit a country has obtained is iran... Northern Alliance is persian speaking, anti taliban ppl...10-20% minority.

5th ... Because of slavery agreements with Iran .. Pakistan cannot drill oil from its own land of Balochistan.... reason !?! iran says its our oill flown onder pakistani land becasue of its lower sea level ... apply this reasoning to stop iran from getting nukes.... :)

So US infact wants iran to acquire nuclear weapons ... pretending it does not want to

google Cunningly missing one thing

1.There is no mentioning of how about a feature in email to move attachment to Drive. Just like ... View, Download, Download All ... there should be a feature to "Copy/Move to Drive...".

2.Also plz note gmail's search is P-T-H-E-T-I-C. I went pulling my hair (not from down there) unable to find a video of Race Jockey i had sent .... searched through Jockey then Race ... then Jockey with Attachments ... then using "TO:" and "has:attachment' .... the email/file turned out to be RaceJockey

3. With google drive's option to view any format video streamed down in intelligently lowered bitrate e.g. 350MB uploaded video with viewable 7mb downlaod (with original file unharmed). This feature is again cunningly missed from gmail. i have many emails i sent video in but their is no option along View, Download, Download All, "View Streamed".

After this algos enhancement and bringing true bing/google search into inboxes.. they should put an Organizer-Tool to swiftly on fly create folders and throw around emails as we do with files in hdd. Lastly a tool like for Disk storage/mapping/charting like Xinorbis, GrandPerspective. "This combination of technologies could be applied to space propulsion, performance and endurance of un-piloted aerial vehicles"

Like just this was the missing wand to conquer Iraq/Afghanistan and its news will make insurgents so heartbroken that they will start smoking all the heroine themselves.

Just where the F*** will lazer transmission increase a satillite's "endurance" ???? orbit endurance require thrusters which require gas not electricity to push path/direction. plasma engines can barely move half-kg right now .. res aside tons of satelliete insisting to remain in its velocity direction cuz of several kms per sec.

Firstly i dont know and dont care of what steve releases. But I kinda see "Zero-Bezel-Screen iPhone" as iPhone5. This is the industry trend and leaked pics (heavy-bexel) could be an Abandoned-June-2011 release.
