Re: Less gravity than expected?
It's still a serious situation.....
Steve Bong, surely?
Re: One thing they still have to sort out....
"You take the number of vehicles in the field (A) and multiply it by the
probable rate of failure (B), multiply the result by the average
out-of-court settlement (C). A times B times C equals X. If X is less
than the cost of a recall, we don't do one."
Re: relies on DJs to choose the music rather than algorithms
Getting off topic here, but does this software give a countdown to the vocal entering? I've found that a lot of DJ's get it just right with a suspicious degree of accuracy!
No flare gun? What if everything else fails.... and then it's dark? What then?
Re: Some hints for beer
I went to America expecting only Budweiser... went on the San Diego beer tour and was duly corrected. Double bastard is awesome :)
Excellent - can't wait! At least I'm prepared I guess!
Recently had cause to visit the job centre. Thoroughly depressing and I imagine to prove of little use (the comments here seem to bare that out). Fun!
It seems that AVG managed to get that certification. I'm still not going back there though *shudder*
Re: oh woe is me,,,,,,
That *is* suffering
Are you a hot BABE in heels and a short skirt?
This is the internet right?
Then yes, yes I am ;)
Seriously though... such levels of fail....

Damn, sorry - long day!
Re: RE: Apple security questions ...
Ah but now we do know Mr Page!
Good old XKCD, I'll drink to that....... but beer, instead of creme eggs. Happy Friday!
"we won't judge the scientific accuracy here."
A good idea I reckon!
Priorities in check then
I remember that, its foul!
Excellent work Reg :) Beer time?
It always seems so expensive.... but whenever I have been tempted to get something (its Christmas, I've a new system/money and am too impatient to wait for delivery) the slow moving queue gets in the way of browsing!
That london logo was a bargain, wasn't it?
IIRC Madrids was done by a competition, with a prize award of €6000.
Its a character on Charlie Brooker's screen wipe. I Highly recommend the 2011 one, which features a very funny Barry Shitpeas.
“perhaps other coincidences in other solar systems have led to entirely different and exciting new forms of life"
Doesn't seem to be said enough i reckon.
If he's getting art together with science, shouldn't it be MATES?
ok..... its funny again now (!)
I like the A-series - the audio quality is pretty good.
However, I want to be able to do play lists on the fly and when I transfer music from Napster can I set the convention for albums? I browse by artist, if an artist has done an album with a lot of 'featuring' tracks (hey, I'm looking at you hip-hop!) can I please just have one entry for the 'main' artist?
Still, I would like a new player soon so its in with a shot :)
