Under cap-and-trade, flying is greener than taking the bus

Carbon trade Lewis Page?

Just think of the electricity we could generate from chucking 'enemies of the planet' into a furnace. Free, carbon neutral leccy, give us a reason not to.

Register readers mostly too ashamed to cop to hideous hoard horrors

She could of course just talk to her dad about the issue, hire a skip and get stuck in. That's what I did when I wanted to use one of my dad's spare rooms which was being used to hoard total crap. Result for me is a usable room kept reasonably tidy for free.

100 EARTH-LIKE PLANETS orbit stars WITHIN 30 LIGHT-YEARS!

Why would our mate Lewis believe this?

Funny how Lewis Page jumps right onto this bandwagon when it contains no actual evidence other than speculation and probability. Yet when it comes to believing scientists of a similar educational standard who present actual evidence about our own planets' changing climate he guffs it away as nonsense.

The guy is a bell end.

US teens confess to 60-a-day texting FRENZY

anti-addick

60 a day, is that all?

One of my daughters (14) complained that she was being charged for her 'unlimited' texts from O2. When I investigated 'unlimited' meant 3500 per month - enough you'd think. No, she smashes that inside 2 weeks and not by mass texting to the tune of 7500 per month.

....we've since had words......

Wouldn't have happened in Brunel's day

If you want to be a World leader you need solid infrastructure. I feel totally let down by the whole thing, we're falling way behind other countries because these turds are quibbling over amounts that are peanuts in the grand scheme of things.

Line them up against a wall and shoot them.

Funny, they don't think batteries will improve in 20 odd years

I give it a couple of years

Whilst I largely agree with your sentiment

the stone age didn't end because we ran out of stones, nor the bronze or iron ages. Same for oil bud. It'll end because it's old, dirty and sh*t compared with the shiny new stuff we're going to use next.

If not, we may end up having to use those stones again lol

Oh, that settles it then

We had best cancel all future developments of anything. I'm glad you told us just in time.

Hands up......

......who doesn't think that petrol will be way more than £3 a litre in 20 years time?

......who thinks that batteries and other technology that companies are pouring millions into will remain static and as sh*te as they are today?

Yet another stupid article from a person that will write anything, no matter how stupid, just so they get paid.

Satellite gives better picture of solar flares' effects on Earth

70% increase eh?

That's frightening! That is unless the previous 100% was negligible...... I find it all very amusing that the people who jump onto this solar flare crap are the very same that deride similar science us unproven and unpredictable.

Yet another sh*t article Lewis Page adds to his collection of obtuse, biased drivel.

Who funds El Reg?

Who pays you El Reg? I mean, you are so anti-green it's incredible. I guess it would make you real happy if we just burned every molecule of hydrocarbon we could find on the planet including all the animals.

If you don't ever give a balanced view, how can you be taken seriously?
