it will come around again..
what we are witnessing is the beginning of the apple slump, exactly the same as happened with pc's - cheaper, faster models flood the market and apple looks slow and expensive and their response is to increase prices - the mac mini is £549 - that's their entry level pc.
sadly apple haven't learned.
i've had 5 macs and 4 ipods and used mac os for 15 years - but i had enough when prices went up, they started selling macs in tesco and argos, they allowed windows on macs, they refused blu-ray on macs and their actual pc marketshare is flat.
i can see where this is going - it has happened before and it will happen again. give it 3 years.
murdoch's a businessman,
he made a massive profit,
news of the world was 1% of his total business.
therefore he's well chuffed and the wife might get some aussie love tonight.....just picture it...
"all the action continues to be available to licence-fee payers"
errr...... half of the action dear.....
what if he hides...
in the US embassy?
the scariest thing...
is james murdoch's accent - have you heard that fucker talk?
please take your withered, droopy jowled old cunt and stick him on ayers rock (or whatever it's new name is) and leave him in the baking sun (not the newspaper) for 3 months....we'll even let you win the ashes for the next 5 years......and while you're at it - take fucking old whinging twat germaine greer too......
and the most bollox rumour goes to....
there is not one chance that a PS4 will arrive in 2012. yet again, these 'insiders' will turn out to be some 15 year old kid on twitter who had half an idea......move on....
actually makes perfect sense....
we're forgeting that the kids/eediots love this sort of thing.
and you're not forced into a video chat with someone.
and it's a better idea than hooking skype to ebay......
"the opinions of software engineers will never be taken seriously when it comes to company direction."
that's because you're a software engineer...not the company director.
what RIM and many others need, is a director that listens to software engineers, developers, designers, interface designers, usability experts etc etc and then combines all their opinions into one great idea with great leadership.....
my point is that if you just listen to one group of people then you product will be poor and you'll get overtaken by your competition.
blackberry's are too technical, fiddly and have no finesse but they work well......a prime example of the balance moving in favour of the technical department and not the usabilty/interface department.
how's your new showbiz mates - gwyneth, chris and jay-z?
no wonder you looked embarrassed......keep thinking of the dollars simon....
