I would have stopped at "totally irrational and unfounded belief", since all the "worldly" transgressions of religious institutions really originate from that fundamental requirement to convince yourself you believe something which can't be justified with factual evidence or the rational thought process.

LulzSec hacks EVE Online as rampage goes on
Because Sony
CCP hf. (the company behind EVE Online) announced an exclusive deal with Sony for its upcoming console MMOFPS game. Sony and their allies have been targeted by LulzSec from the start. Likewise, Mojang (the Minecraft guys) are bringing Minecraft mobile to the Sony's phone/portable console thing (Xperia?) only at first.
Sounds like a more plausible explanation than targets being picked at random.

I don't get it
I still don't get it, are these people making a giant joke and a mockery of themselves, or are they really, seriously arguing over the scientific classification of a ball of rock and ice 30 AU away?
Come on, it's not like Pluto suddenly became less significant and important just because it was classified in a way that makes sense and is consistent with the definitions of space objects.

'Everywhere' as in Windows, GNU/Linux, Mac OSX, iOS, Blackberry, Android and Windows Phone 7. I don't see why they would support their direct competitors in the dedicated eBook reader market, though. Besides, you're free to use DRM-free books that work on just about any hardware if you're that bothered by it.
Japanese nuke meltdown may be underway
re: barkingmad
That may have to do with nutcases claiming this was a second Tschornobyl (or a second Hiroshima, usw, for that matter). It is a contained incident and it's nowhere near as catastrophic as the rest of the earthquake/tsunami damage. Unfortunately, it'll make the public even more panicky and hysterical about humanity's most clean and efficient energy source.
