I recommend the Segway tour of Paris, is better than trudging around and you're in with the action..
It be better if you just had to blow into the iPhone and it gave you a reading, thats £10k worth spending.
You can get 7 litires of supermarket brand juice for that!.
Supersonic blade tips teeter on the verge of decaying into antimatter when nearing the speed of light.
I'm on my way...
I started on the 1k Atom and moved onto BBC & Archimedes but my mum threw most of them out in a garage clearup. 6502/Arm RISC Assembly, Chuckie Egg, the smell of bubbling power packs. Those were the days! (well mostly nights if I am honest)
transition flow physics
I thought that was the transition from solid matter to hot flames to dust.
I married my Chinese wife in Beijing last year, and throughout the ceremony we had the same bagpipes playing (on a stereo) as in the Olympic ceremony. Our wedding was obviously designed by the same bloke who did the Olympics. Thankfully now it is not John Glenn or even just NASA that decides who should be given access to space. They did it first 50 years ago when with ancient technology and my Dad was just 12, and still only a select/very rich few go each year. Should be more interesting now ESA, Virgin, and even China are getting into the act. Come on, hurry up!
We went on the Segway tour of Eiffel tower recently which was great, they really do zip along. People don't buy segways because they are too expensive and I was told they have to be sent to the States for fixing, eg after a mulfunction or crash. These are just too slow and unless they can fly or something, I can't see them taking off...
Even if Sony were selling each PS3 at a loss previously I doubt they are now, and if they do sell 150m over the next 10 years thats plenty opportunity for a little profit I am sure. Also, I think Sony has a lot up its sleeve still to keep the noisy fanboys going.
Before any hidef disc format can re-invent the video wheel, fat pipes and chips will be the order of the day.
Unless I am mistaken, I think there is more than 1 Anonymous Coward at work, or multiple personalities, or sumink...
Whats the point of comparing a PC and Mac in this way? people have made the platform & decision way before before choosing their new hardware. It like saying why eat an apple when tomatoes are so much cheaper. doh...
