Good ol' days
I miss my CMD-Z1, it's flip down mic and its ostrich.

As an ex PABX programmer I can tell you that it would normally be handled by having sales groups outbound CID sent to the group inbound DDI and most individual phones within an office that were allowed inbound calls would be allocated DDI's. With CLI, whichever agent picked up the phone would register who the caller was and proceed as normal. I'm sure that since me leaving the industry CMS have become even more integrated and so would only be a problem if the caller was withheld.
Fines are pointless and no deterrent to the companies. All that will happen is that the poor customers whose details have already been leaked will then be charged more to make up the fine shortfall. Make the executives criminally and financially liable themselves, with strong prison sentences and personal asset seizure.
The creep of functions onto a touchscreen based system is concerning. Where before your muscle memory and tactile feedback would allow you to use the ventilation system without looking, you now need to check the screen which diverts your eyes and concentration from the road. Downright dangerous.
My list of useful apps...
HapticPro - vibration on touch feedback
MultiFlow - multi tasking app killer
AsktoCall - stops unwanted calls
Activator - prgrom buttons to do what you want
Speed Intensifier - speeds up silly animations
WinterBoard - install hi quality themes.
5 button dock - 5 buttons, not iapproved 4.
Its not bad, but it has a few issues. The video is still an after thought.
Having to chop in and out of live mode to change aperture is just plain silly with most lenses.
The 20 minute time limit is also poor.
Audio is rubbish, and with no way to gauge if the setting your on is effective.
The metering in matrix mode is not reliable and its best to use it in centre weighted.
The lack of a 100% zoom on a single key press is also irritating.
The small buffer can cause issues, but you change your style to suit and shoot slower.
Autofocus seems pretty good.
Image quality in lightroom is great.
Low ISO performance is fantastic.
I upgraded from a d200, but also use a d300, d3 and d3s.
With the 35mm 1.8 af-s on its a lovely camera.
I got mine two months ago before the floods for £794 body only..theyve gone up 150 since then.
Seeing as Facebook cant even code an iPhone app correctly to work with their own product, I would have no faith in any hardware they ever created or were involved in.
Surely the garbage ratings that Facebook have for their app had something to do with them being dropped from the 4S launch.
Maybe people don't want a PC because they just don't want one.
Maybe they don't want to go on the intertubes.
Maybe they don't want to to be locked in to spending £108 on silly intertubes a year.
and maybe they can see that the claim in the report of being able to save £560 per year online is only relevant if you actually have thousands to be able to spend or want to spend buying stuff anyways.
