What was the point of this?
Got two spam messages about this during the weekend then went online at 11am site was down (kept trying to no avail). Kept trying and know they say it is finished. What the feck was that all about???
I find it weird that theregister: an authority on everything hacking is hacked by Turkish hackers/criminals...lol
They have been too complacent far too long. Welcome to the game as they say
You can get the Palm M150 and even the M550 for under £100 such you how crap they are..lol Oh i had a PalmM150 and Lifedrive (expensive mistake)
Take down Google?
Everybody wants to take down Google and they will all FAIL. Amen!
Isn't this put of their jurisdiction?
I mean Ireland and Jersey? aren't the FBI going a bit too far?
Wait a sec...
The guy might be a convicted felon but if he has prove of the contract which shows Zuckerberg agreeing to his T&C's then Facebook might have a case to answer
I for one don't care
There are more important issues in the world today and my mind is on far more important things than this attention seeking roach. Who care? El-Reg of course. That's why they keep supporting the guy by featuring his articles
Two morons on top
What does violence acheive?
If you believe the claptrap that comes out of Gartner, then the Nintendo DS would have been DOA (dead on arrival) when it first launched in 2005
The real reason...
For Microsoft taking Google to court is that she wants Google to feel her pain. After years of anti-trust and anti-competition lawsuits in America and the EU (choice of browsers in new PC's as a result of one of those lawsuits), the only way Microsoft can beat Google is guess what through the same way.. pathetic
Is this guy still on?
I had forgotten he was still around. Please go away
For a second there i thought i saw Intel...lol
Andriod and WP7
So how many have Andriods and Windows 7? I think FB is the way to go for these ladies. Sites like Gumtree are too sleazy and on FB (i have seen a few) she doesn't really need to advertise her services. She might put a semi nude or generally hot pic as her profile pic and then spam fanpages by saying "please add me". If you add her (which i did a few times and then removed) you will have access to her sem naked pics. Just a quick emal saying "hi do you do escort"? brings up her prices, availability and things she does and does not do. If FB shuts her profile down, she will open another one continuing the cycle
Load of Bullfrog
This is a load of bull. For starters they have different price points and smartphones are not anywhere near PC's and both are used differently
come to think of it....
Anonymous should know that Mr Barr is not stupid. He has their secret info stored offline somewhere. You think he would store it in his email or online? duh. Arcording to the BBC "He said he did not intend to hand the information over to the authorities unless forced to, but did plan to present his findings at a conference in San Francisco later this month." The fanboys went berserck and "Mr Barr's Twitter account was filled with a sequence of racial and sexual slurs, along with a string of personal details such as his mobile phone and social security numbers."
Man they even stoop as low to make racist remarks.. I think Mr Barr will hand over his evidence to the police. One thing that "Anonymous" should realise is that they did not invent the internet and you are not really anonymous on it. It just takes a little flash of cash and some geniuses can bring down this organisation in a matter of days.
Not so anonymous
Don't forget that on the internet you are not "anonymous" as you claim to be: http://www.simpleweb.org/reports/loic-report.pdf
I agree with you
Why are many wikileaks supporters posting with AC? Just like their hacker brethrens - cowards. I have nothing to hide unlike Assange and co
I see i was thumbed down furiously by fanboys/girls. Like i said it is his word against everyone else. The lawyer claims to have proof until this "proof" is in the public domain i will not believe him. The guy is no angel and he is been made a digital martyr. I prefer Open Leaks to Wikileaks.. And thumb away :)
Its his word. We need to see physical proof i am afraid. If he can put this in the public then i will believe him
My take on this
As many of you will know, i am neutral in this i.e. i don't support wikileaks and assange or the governments. The sex case against him is either trumped up or real (sadly we cannot read people's minds). From what i understand what constitutes rape in Sweden is different from that in Britain. What i don't like is some wiki supporters sending demeaning messages to these rape victims (i am sure victims of rape will condemn their actions)
Thats sick. If it were a woman then i can understand but Alan Sugar?
This is getting old
Soon they will be sabotaging the car brake of the executives who cut funding from wikileaks.. next
Only seems fair
He wasn't going to run anywhere was he? hope he gets a fair and just trial to the fullest extent of the law. Judges should stop tweeting and twating so immature
I don't use these sites as well but i have used the same passwords on numerous sites :(
Why would one want to cough up another monthly phone bill? This is equivalent to having two phone contracts. If i were to get this device, i will just play with it and have a PAYG account to download data i.e. apps, games etc when needed. Tying me two another phone contract is just plain silly. Some people have too much money to spend than common sense
Like the articel said, Amazon is well protected and beyound the reach and knowledge of Anon. They know that they suffered a backlash when they first tried and have lost a few hacker members already
"Martijn Gonlag, pictured here, says he only wanted to test software, and wasn’t supporting Wikileaks" yeah because i was just born yesterday. I think a forced re-education program is in order
It is common sense really that the cheaper console sells better than the most expensive console (even if the latter is the most powerfull). At the moment the least powerfull Wii is leading the sales chart (in all regions) followed by the 360 and then the PS3
Why is the register encouraging people to do such things? she is not neutral as she claims but is 100% behind these hackers.. Sad day for neutrality indeed
I don't think he should be indicted
It will only make him a matyr which is what he and his supporters want. From what i understand, it will be very difficult for the American authorities to make any charges stick because technically, he did not steal these materials himself. It was handed to him and Wikileaks by Manning (whom they have abandoned to rot in jail)
I think he was trying to shoot one off before been pulled over by the cops
How can you forget to lock the car?
I know he was running late for a meeting and what not but the theif was probably not looking to steal at that point. He was handed the opportunity on a plate when he ran off without turning off the light, or locking the door . I have been in a similar situation but i always locked the doors and have my laptop with me
I was once attacked by a goat
I am not making this up. It was my fault because i had disturbed the female goat with her young and the male goat (ram) with large horns came after me. He trapped me against the tree and tried to gnore me to death but i found the strenght to hold on to its horn and fight him off. I lifted him by the horns and threw him on the ground and he ran away. That was a scary moment
I found the gun
And sold it on ebay for a tidy sum thank you. I also found the missing cash that was left ontop of the car which i have deposited into my bank account and i am living it large:)
I fell sorry....
For those who spent a great deal buying the first generation. I remember seeing quite a lot models in CEX shop not long after launch (some people cashed in quickly). I am safe from all this because i don't buy such gadgets:) i will watch from the sidelines and see who the winner is
This is wrong and illegal. There is no differenciation between a "good" hacker and a "bad" hacker (just like saying a good thief and a bad thief). For me they all fall in the same boat.
This is what the cats eat hence the term "furball"
I am sure...
He is a supporter of Wikileaks and a member of 4chan
Their income goes to the upkeep of the site, blackmail purposes via hackers (4chan) and sustaining Julians lifestyle
Thats what i have been saying. They have brain washed so many people and they use their hacker buddies to blackmail those who stand in their way. I supported them early on but not any more
They are all after money
And the lawsuit will fail on its behind. Greedy pigs
Not played it but brings back memories of my SNES days. So far my christmas wish lists are: DKC, Epic Mickey and GT5 :)
Seeing as they are made in China and Taiwan the Chinese version is of a much lower qaulity
Might i chip in?
I don't agree with what the government are doing i also don't agree with what these hacker i.e. criminals are doing. They think they are anonymous (did they create the internet?) but on the internet no one is anonymous. They want to take down Twitter and that will be their downfall. I have been on the receiving end of hackers and it ain't funny. Given the chance, these guys will steal your credit cards and sell it on
I wrote to Samsung
I wrote to the head of product development at Samsung and told him that the Galaxy is a great device only hindered by the price. I adviced him to cut the price this christmas to see an increase in sales. I got a response from his secetary and she forwarded it to him. It seems they are doing something about it in another way:)
Won't take off everywhere
Cloud service requires constant access to the internet. In third world countries and places with poor internet conncetions, it will not take off. At the moment Chrome has 50/50 chance of failure or sucess. It took years for Microsoft to grab the market and Chrome will be no exception (assuming she is to suceed)
These guys are no angels
I agree with Youngs assesment of the situation: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/12/07/cryptome_on_wikileaks/ They completely sold out Manning and the others to further their own interests. And Assange is no angel as well. His public persona is very different from his private
