Re: Great . .
I always assumed that they were trying to come up with a "catchy" word that people would adopt as a generic term for searching the web ..
As in "I'll just Google it" - they wanted people to start saying "I'll Bing it" ..
They should have chosen a less shit word
Wow this thing used to munch 10p's !!
Blissfull memories of getting so so wound up by this game but still coming back for more time and again :)

"Budd's shop was just 200 yards from where the drugs were fly-tipped, apparently."

Re: There is only one way.
I heard somewhere that the spam email writers are now making their mails LESS sophisticated by design..
That way, anyone stupid enough to click on the link- is more likely to be stupid enough to buy product/ give away personal details on the resulting page ..
Re: There is only one way.
"(at least in the UK, where healthcare is free)"
Healthcare IS NOT free ..
I pay for it out of my tax .
Re: I am getting sick of hearing about Ello
How is that more detailed ??
Hurray for Kali Linux - and all its awesomeness ..
Would be horrible to use on a tablet though, and I fail to see why anyone would want/need to

just me ??
I quite like the idea of being able to read a text by simply looking at my wrist ..
But I`m not going to pay 2 ton for that privilege

Re: Dumb question here
"The old lady next door would have to grab my phone when i'm not looking and check its mac to know what to spoof though"
No .. A hacker can use tools to see the mac addresses of all devices already communicating with the router ..
And then he can just spoof one of those
Re: Dumb question here
-yes the hacker would have to be in wifi range .. ie parked down the road with a pringle tin antenna ect.
-No, I don't need your routers admin password to poison your ARP table and then perform any number of MITM attacks
-I type this :- macchanger --mac=00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan1, and my mac is whatever I want it to be
- broadcast or not, there are tools to see your BSSID
Re: OOPS! Why it could or couldn't

"So am I the only guy that actaully likes the old homepage? "
No - you're not .. Read above posts ..
Im inclined to believe this will eventually be proved true ...
My personal educated guess is that our universe is similar to the interior of a black hole, with all the information spread out over the event horizon in 2 dimensions ..
Interesting times indeed
Re: Good work, everyone!
Re: slippery slope or lawsuit magnet?
As they are not really looking through our stuff as such, but a robot is scanning it for known traces of bad stuff ..
Isn't this akin to sniffer dogs running over bags at an airport ??
Any illegal stuff detected, bags opened ..
Just a thought ..
And as long as they just use the "child pron dog" and keep the others caged, then im fine with it
I live with a flappy bird ...
Re: Not wanting to defend plod, but
"But they wont pay for a new front door."
Yes they most certainly will
providing no proof of a crime by yourself was found of course.

"should allow stanene to conduct electricity perfectly along its edges (blue and red arrows)"
Thanks for that .. I wouldn't have had a clue as to where the edges of the diagram were , if it wasn't for those HUGE red and blue arrows ..
Chuckle - I could watch that all day :)
Playstations are allowed in prisons and mobiles are charged through usb. All ps2s are supposed to have port blockers installed but rarely do. Enforcing this would be the easiest way to curb mobile use as iv yet to see a charger that would go up someones ass
