"In February we took 40 of those GCSE students to Silicon Valley. We saw Google, Stanford, Intel. And seeing so many women working there was important, especially at Google, [where] 50 per cent [of the staff are] women"
This is a Grammar school head teacher, and The Register have had to fill in the gaps of what she said to make it a proper sentance!
Pirate bay is sh!t anyway, much better torrent site sout there......
My Desire is pretty much filled, and i cant say that i have that much on it to be honest - and yes i have moved as many apps as i can onto my SD card
When i install any new ones, i get he very annoying low on disk space message
All in all, i should have waited for the HD......
I want one
Rubbish name though, as per
If VM dotn tell their staff on the phone about frequency changes, then it porves that the CS is awful!
most of the time its not the person on the phone were talking to that were p!ssed off with (although they take the blame and abuse, because, well, somebody has to)
If VM made their staff aware of situations such as these, then the world would be a better place. Staff could explain the situation, rather than fobbing people off with excuses such as, its your fault, no faults i can see this end!
Bottom line, VM suck big hairy sweaty balls! And if it were down to me, they would be MY big, hairy, sweaty balls :)
More than one issue......
....i had an engineer out recently as my BB was intermitent in its sync. He said they have changed the frequency for a lot of users, but VM will not admit that over the phone, or anywhere else
10 minute job and he sorted it. But the problem in this article is now also affecting my service
Just another day in the life of a VM customer i guess
Expect 360 sales to go up and possibly overtake PS3 in tiem to come due to kinect
Although Win 8 is still obviously in very early stages of development, why dont MS just concentrate on making their current OS worthwhile???
XP has been around for over 10 years ( i think) and is still used by a high percentage of people, includign most businesses. Reason, its old enough that pretty much all problems have been ironed out! Admitedly after XP a new OS was needed as XP had hit the ceiling in capability, but then to release Visa?
Vista has its problems, way too many, so then they release 7, the all new singing and dancing OS thats basically Vista with all the cr@p remvoed so its actually usable! I have bene using 7 for a while now and havent had any major issues, so why then go back and create awhole new OS, with all tjhe problems this will bring with compatability and drivers, and the enivitable BSOD, when you could just patch 7 for the next 10 years until that hits teh ceiling with capability
MONEY MONEY MONEY! Keep waving that carrot infront of our faces MS, but one day, hopefully, we'll realise we're not donkeys and give a BIG 2 fingers and just acceptt hat Ubuntu is teh way forward
Just my 20 cense anway
I have never modded my PS3 in anyway. I recently updated to 3.56 or whatever the latest update was, and since then my PS3 does not recognise any USB data drives connected to it! Considence - maybe. Will Sont recognise their update caused this - no. Pain in the a$$ - Most definitely!
Paris coz she definitely puts out
Shake it baby........
I know Halfords have bought out a car garage chain - national autocentre i think. Will probably have to go to them for car parts
"kiddy stuff like exclusive Shaun the Sheep videos"
I love Sean the Sheep!

Ive been having a similar, intermitent issue with my desire, but im on Tmobile. With the recent "network hopping" of signal between Orange and Tmob, woudl this be causign me issues too?
