I've accidentally ordered 3 - it was not clear at all that payments had gone through or been accepted etc.

I have no idea whether all three will be honoured. If I were Google I would cancel two of my orders and just ship me one, but if three turn up I doubt I'll have a problem finding people to sell them to. (Not at a profit, I hasten to add, before get flamed!)

Artificial limiting of supply is incredibly frustrating, but you can see why they do it. What's not really acceptable is giving people such a poor shopping experience with page crashes etc. Of all the companies in the world, I didn't think Google would be struggling to provide a web service!

AC re: bundle only

It's pre-order, im sure they'll become more flexible when it's actually released. Or, why not take a look at a Lenovo LePad K2 instead?

Gaggle what?!

I like how you kept the reveal to the end, to ensure people read at least 80% of the reviews...

For £125, I won't be expecting it to do an awful lot. At that price point it's perfect for impulse-buying and I predict people are going to snap them up.

re: yossarianuk

Is this really how you make all your purchasing decisions?

I just can't get used to the trackpad being off set all the way to the left on these Acer laptops, it feels very lopsided

But wait for the Fire 2.. that WILL be great and have all the singing dancing features that people want. Standard industry practise now isn't it? I'll be surprised if Apple don't sue for Amazon copying their marketing strategy.. it's like the iPhone drip-feed release all over again.....

Well quite

Hadn't heard much about this Samsung tablet before, but now I really want to see what is so good that Apple don't want it. It must be really good.

Semi-serious note: Patent wars are not good for us as consumers, not in the long run. Can anything be done to stop these juggernauts lining the pockets of already overly wealthy company law layers?

Umm..

Was that a rant, or news?

Thumb Up

I like it

It's well-priced and pretty nice to look at - I'd love to see one in the flesh before I bought though.

The wifi is particularly attractive, the ability to look up basic news sites on the move would be pretty handy - and probably neglect the need to even think about getting an iPon.
