I bought a robot hoover once
And now it's just gathering dust. :/
K70 + RAT 5
Is my current setup. It's awesome. The K70 is a wonderful keyboard which meets my needs very well. I've had it a few months so far and it's still running fine. I love my RAT 5 mouse too. It's just so comfortable to hold once I had adjusted it to the right length.
I have an old G4 mac running OSX 10.3.
It works absolutely fine for streaming my music collection over my home network. I 'd be gutted if a Windows update made that network share inaccessible to the old Mac.
Old tech can always be re-purposed!

Re: I have no idea how you make a movie out of Minecraft
I'd imagine you start with nowt but a pickaxe...
Re: Why all the rush
Because that would ruin the idea that every other MS OS is rubbish.
I wouldn't sub
No MotoGP, half assed F1 coverage. Why the hell do I pay my licence still? I don't even watch TV any more.
You might also want to look at "Game Stock Car 2013".
It's essentially rFactor with a load of mods put together in one nice, tidy package which is being lauded as one of the best sim racing games ever made by a lot of people in the sim racing community.
I want Google
To retaliate with a really blunt, vulgar end game message right from the start. Maybe a T-Shirt that reads: "Go fuck yourselves, Microsoft".
I'd like to know the ratio
Of the number of pages have been blocked to the number of new pages (proxy sites) created since the blocks.
Is so awesome these days. We're so close as a race to taking some massive leaps forward in terms of energy, biology and technology. It's so exciting to be alive at this time!
The shop keep was demonstrating it wrong.
As torrentz only serves to aggregate info and link to other torrent sites and doesn't host any links to the actual torrent file / magnet links, surely we must also block Google.
Re: The true nature of reality is virtually an app delivered by Global Operating Devices
Maybe it's because there was a works do last night with the mandatory free wine on the table and a tab behind the bar...
Always use mobile here.
Well, I say mobile. There's not much mobile about a wifi only Nexus 7, but it's done the job of YouTube player for the last year or so quite happily!
I've flashed a lot of ROMs
And not one of them matches the up time my stock HTC One gets.
That's like saying a pint of Tesco Smart Price Lager will get you really drunk.
Google need to learn
That whilst most people are OK with in app ads, there are some of us that would pay for an ad free version.
ALL Android apps with ads built in should have a paid for ad-free version.
Not surprised at all
It took me just under one month to add a single HP Laserjet printer to our support contract with them.
If it's that hard to get them to take our money....
The Cloud Based Storage Formerly Known As Sky Drive.
Right next to me here. She's about to be retired though. She's big enough to hide people in, loud enough to drown out their screams too...
When I see the word "filter"
I read it as "simple test of my IT resolve".
Oooh, you lucky bugger
Visiting Lotus F1 under the guise of a legitimate article.
Still, when I went to Virgin's garage (now Marussia), they too had similarly impressive IT systems.
FirstRow was my place to go after myP2P got killed.
I'm sure a quick FB status will inform me of another place.
Speaking of which - how many variants of TPB are there now?
I managed to beat him on a couple of occasions, but he was very difficult to say the least!
Re: Unreal Tournament & II for me
CTF-LavaGiant is the map you're describing.
Was awesome when you played it with the Low Gravity and Jump Match modifiers. You could sit on the wall and snipe across the whole map.
Re: How long ago?
And how many people in 2010 thought DropBox was part of the Royal Mail?
Re: "beats exceeding 300 beats per min"
Techno typically comes in around 140 - 150 BPM.
Apple pay income tax?
Really Apple? You pay the income tax of your employess? Doesn't come out of your employee's wage then?
We've got a few iOS users at work that would love this kind of thing.
Anyone know of any alternatives?
Re: "claims people make about their future behaviour doesn't reflect real-life"
Streaming music apps like Spotify are so close to being perfect it's untrue. All we need is properly decent, ubiquitous mobile broadband. Especially in the countryside when I'm thrashing the motorbike.
When we have that (mainly because I listen to music either at home or on the go -rarely somewhere where I don't have either local storage or wifi), I'll happily sub to one of these.
The question really is which bloody one! I had the same problem choosing between Netflix and LoveFilm.
Another Hotmail user
I'll never willingly let go of it. Can't say I like the speed at which Outlook.com loads though. I find it rather slow...

Also, the Sega F1 race is one of my earliest memories of F1! I loved that as a kid!
There will always be room in my heart for Sonic 2. That game was simply phenomenal.
As a side note, you could plug in pretty much any game in to S&K and play a random bonus stage!
Re: Call me an old fart
Very nice. Far better than the Desire S I upgraded from.
Re: ooh ... shiny
They're being bundled with a flip stand case by a few places.
Good shout, considering CM are NOT supporting the S4 officially. Wouldn't surprise me if the UK version gets a decent port from someone else due to it running the S600 over here as opposed to the Exynos 8-core CPU.
This iteration of Sense does seem a whole world better than previous versions (I can say that with experience of all Sense's various iterations over the years), though I too prefer stock. At least this time, it's not been too over-engineered.
Regarding BLINKFEED: It can at least be set up to not refresh on mobile data. :)
I've got one here, it's lovely.
I've never really bough spare batteries before, so removable battery doesn't bother me.
As for SD-Card... I've lived with an 8GB one on my Desire S for the last two years... 32GB in built is loads for me! I don't really play games on phones (aside from puzzles) because I refuse to carry a PS3 control pad around with me all the time. I've got a Nexus 7 for video (although the One has a far superior display, it's just too small for a film of TV show).
I feel for all you guys that need removable stuffs! This phone is honestly the nicest mobile device I've ever used.
Have sex to not die.
Re: WTF?! "This App is not compatible with Nexus 7
Just updated to 4.2.2 by chance?
The only problem with Nexus devices is that having the latest version of Android often breaks your apps.
the second an iGraphene device comes out, Apple will be suing everyone. Again.
Due care and attention much?
that Apple will soon have a patent that covers TVs.
For this to come out on XBLA. I feel the analogue controls provided by the 360 pad will make the handling model of this game feel much more sim like. The sense of speed is already phenomenal. Gran Turismo and Forza will be terrified of this superior release.
Was my fave back in the day. It was a nice, clean website.
I'm a nerd then. A happy one at that!
