Here are the steps to block autoplay using the page info in Firefox:
Launch the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Open any site that you want to disable autoplay.
Right-click anywhere and choose View page info.
Switch to the Permissions tab.
Under the Autoplay section, uncheck the Use Default option.

Not my problem
I use whatever I need to use. Unless the company is involved in war crimes or human right violations, I don't care what they do. They can sort it out or not. I'll find something else if worse comes to worst.
I've got my own damn problems fighting off scammers and grifters and assorted other troublemakers that directly impact my life. The existential can get in line.

If you can use Windows, most Linux desktops work the same way. Menu top left, buttons top right. File Save, Print, etc., all in the same places.
Installations and updates? Even easier.
Install programs? Built in "store" just like Apple and MS.
Add peripherals? Chances are Linux already has it loaded, just like the other Big 2.
Tell us you haven't used Linux in years without actually telling us.
