Ability to come out with something better than there's,in other words Jealousy.
Not surprised, was in Hunts Cross Asda yesterday and there were on the end of an isle working IPad 2 and 3?
Behind the big dollop of lipstick it's a very nice O/S, everything is swift and improved upon Win 7. With the beta's kept thinking well this is just to get the tablet developers some me time, but no they have really chucked the lovely desktop out with the bath water.
Got Xoom for £250 running ICS ,32Gb's and overclocked to 1.2Gh'z and micro sd why wait???
No mention of I Pad 1,are they still going to sell(joke I think)?
Archos and Motorola and probably more makes do this, that is allow you to un-lock the boot-loader and void the warranty.
Doesn't the iPad have a metal case? never heard any problems there with gps.
Noticed that ones silver not champagne, must be for other markets?
the-it-slayer- No your wrong, previous iterations of slabs, slates, bricks what ever utilised hardware and software that were to expensive and not up to it.But Apple thought it had the right formula, integrate all form ,software- hardware -battery life-small light form factor and crucially price, and hit the quality market where it's consumer base is and has been proved, have a winner.
Now Apple spent a lot of time and money on R@D,then hit the market running and all the other manufacturers had to start from square one to get in on this potentially lucrative market. They have been remarkably quick with there development with some about to introduce the second generation while Apple is to bring out a third generation early next year?.
As true integration O/S for Android is about to be released in ICS and it gets smoothed out and the app market gets evened out between Apple and Android,I can see the market next year getting better for the quality makers of Android.
Ah well time will tell.
There both big

If they can see through the top of there heads!
And 4:3 so it's a certainty !
Two years ago I very nearly purchased the older model but for one thing, the battery is internal.
So have to re-charge back at base,a definite no no for me.So went for for Tesco branded Techknica, cheaper at £50.It's very good except for the reason I bought it,DAB reception is generally poor( Not Techknicas fault),and battery life is about 3 hours using 900mAh AA.So nearly always use FM giving an agree able 8hours use?
Probaly trying to get in before-
Sky does,as they see this as a threat to their earnings,as Joe public might see this as a free package why pay?
