ffs my head hurts and my guts puke with despair
...so, let me get this straight, these ones are 'Rebels' and not 'Terrorists'...and the reason being that, until recently anyway, Mr Gaddafi was an ally of the 'Axis of 'Good''™...you know, when he was being all repentant and allowing the exploitation of Libyan resources and people by Western Interests...
...riiiiight, and before that he was 'Bad'...for the years of wanting a better personal deal/resisting exploitation...
...no mention if the 'Rebels'/'Terrorists' are 'Good' or not...but being supported by Western Interests the message is they must be 'Good'...and Gaddafi is 'Bad' so 'Good' + 'Bad' = 'Double Good Good'...obviously...
Of course, the media seems strangely quiet on any attrocities being committed by the 'Good' side...they must be the most saintly 'Rebels'/'Terrorists' ever.
On the news I just heard a reporter pretty much saying something like Gaddafi killed the children...himself, barehanded, with a roadside bomb...why oh why won't someone, anyone <who isn't on the Sex Offender Register> think of the children...
ffs this world is a crock of shit, misinformation and corruption and it makes me sick to the core
Re: Mind you, shops delibrately confuse, again
Yes! ffs!!11! These supermarket scam tactics have been driving me insane - both my local A*d* and T*sc* are definitely at it...been meaning to look into reporting them to some sort of high authority...
The most common scams, as already mentioned, are mixing units per 100g/1kg etc. Then there's mixing physical properties g/ml. But what really gets me is mixing net weight and dried weight - I've seen this done with tins of tuna/other canned/jarred foods...there was something else just at the weekend, but I forget in my old age.
People think I'm doing some sort of voodoo magic when I study all the labels, hum and hay for a second before pronouncing 'this one is the cheapest!!'. They look at the main price on the label and think 'no it's not'...'idiots be damned' I say...
p.s. Apologies in advance to all the grammar nazis in this thread.
Thank christ for that! For a minute there I thought the Minecraft servers had been attacked!
Turns out it's only a load of stupendously rich asshats, who can burn for all I care.
it's *almost* like touching a real Moderatrix
This small segment of the porn industry has it all wrong - until 3d tv doesn't require special glasses or induce headaches it's DOA. The current 3d-tech is utter shite...blah blah polish a turd etc...
...cold dead hands
That's where you will find my cash.
Alcatel-Lucent hope to make a little money on A LOT of transactions.
The guberments want to track everything, for our own good of course, nothing to do with tax, suppressing legitimate opposition and the like...have you thought of the children recently?? Well don't you paedo scum.
Who could possibly lose out of this?!
I think someone touched on it earlier (fnarr fnarr)...but a certain German company has a lot to gain from more/new model/throwaway your old ones/churn traffic lights. In our most upstanding corrupt society the brown packets are flying.
But won't someone think of the children FFS!!!111!! Round my way, they put in a pedestrian crossing, and yet still employ a Lollipop Woman...hmmm....don't see many Lollipop Men these days...I wonder why...
if i ever fly again...
...I'm sticking a metal toy car up my arse.
I do(n't) believe it matters who you are
...and now I await for similar prosecution against the Army, RAF and Navy for all their (dis)tasteful extremist propaganda, glorifying acts of terrifying violence, and giving information and incentive on how to join up and commit similar acts.
I recently watched this documentary, it was a bit weird - like it was in the past but also the future at the same time...anyway, unfortunately the terrorists won. Even the revelation that the main terrorist was fighting against his own father didn't affect the outcome...crazy.
black helicopters because obviously these kind of sane and rational thoughts will get me in trouble
RE: 'Time-wasting goes mobile'
Minecraft is one of the most unique, creative and charming games to be produced in quite a while. It's cross-platform and runs great on my Ubuntu box. If you haven't tried it then I suggest you do...if you have an open mind that is...
I would compare Minecraft to playing with Lego - IMHO I don't care who you are but playing with Lego is NOT time-wasting.
Thumbs down for this author's obvious and childish prejudice against the game.
stop ffs...I've been drinking again
Please, none of this 'where's the Jedi answer?' etc.
It's probably some sort of crime to encourage others not to comply with the bastards currently in charge...but let's just say, if you were to leave your census form next to the bin...and it was to accidentally fall in...and it happened to be that one day of the month when the sun and blue moon and men who get up far too early collude to say it might be bin day...well that's OK...really it is...
You might be fined £1000. Highly unlikely - heading towards lottery jackpot odds. Personally, I believe in the 'frustrate' tactic, and if enough people stand firm the bastards are fucked...for now at least.
There's a reason this is going to be the last census. From The Telegraph:-
"Mr Maude said the Census was “out of date almost before it has been done” and was looking at ways to count the population more frequently — perhaps every five years — using databases held by credit checking firms, Royal Mail, councils and Government.
“This would give you more accurate, much more timely data in real time. There is a load of data out there in loads of different places,” he said."
They won't stop until we burn them. That is all.
I'm blinded by 'science'
"These break down into 68 planets of approximately Earth-size, 288 super-Earths, 662 comparable to Neptune, 165 the size of Jupiter, and 19 larger than Jupiter."
Very good, means nothing. How many Wales is that?
i can't express in words the sound i'm making
two comments in a day....honestly, i don't usually get this enraged...maybe something to do with the copious amounts of wine I've enjoyed this evening...
<rant mode on>
holy cow batman wtf is this big ape that stares at me but doesn't listen even when i shout gtf away ape like man bear pig. What?
The problem is Egypt...and then there's these mesh things.
I've been doing what all (by all I mean very few) good citizens do - locking down my wifi as best I can. The problem? That's what 'THEY' want. Divide and conquer etc. If my connection is used for something bad it's MY fault, only I can possibly have done something 'BAD' and they lock ME up.
In the same way all good civil rights movements grew, we need to grow some effing balls (ball-esses for the ladies?) and say 'fuck you man' as one. It's not just me. If we're strong we can all face this shit-storm together,and they can do absolutely nothing about it. I piss in their cornflakes.
<rant mode off>
Right, off to have my Horlicks and then to bed for me. ta ta x
I hate to speak like this but epic epic fail o fail o wail!!11!!!!
"Crocodile keyboard becomes top Android app"
<rant mode on>
My suspicions (convictions?) are now confirmed that yes, in fact, many, many people are dumb as fuck. Repeat. FACT. The majority of people buying Android apps are dumb as fuck. FACT. People are paying for this shit?! I mean, they earned some money (legally or otherwise) and decided to spend it on this?! wtf?!
I read the comments in the previous article - a couple of people were close...but no cigar.
Here it is - accidental key presses are good!!! omg silence.
(at least on my phone (Desire), no experience of Iphone thank cHrist...I'm chuckling to myself how I wrote ipHone there btw)
anyway...exactly the opposite of what this app is trying to achieve. This app is supposedly making the target smaller, with more dead space around keys. You either hit the key you want, or nothing.
Except, and here it is, my Android phone (Desire) actually uses all these accidental key-presses, thinks about them, and then suggests what I might have been trying to utter, usually successfully first time.
So there you have it, this app is fail, the 'inventor' is fail, the register is collectively fail for apparently supporting this app "Well done, David.", and aPplE are <choke> not fail.
I'll admit that I'm generally more pro-Android, but in this case AppLe have hit it spot on telling this guy to take a hike.
<rant mode off>
I very rarely comment. I do generally enjoy reading the comments but rarely feel the need to get involved. I'd like to more, but I usually miss a really important fact and end up looking stupid. Down-vote as you see fit.

I like this post.
@ 'Its the food...'
As an Aberdonian, who had a couple this morning (to soak up the excesses from the previous night), I feel I must point out that the acceptable names for our salty, lard-ridden delicacy would be 'rowie' or 'roll' in these here parts...
I can't even bring myself to say the b-word <shudders>
I do, of course, speak for every single person in Aberdeen.
Pint for everyone tonight...but why no rowie icon for the morning?!
