UN to call for 'pre-emptive' ban on soulless robot bomber assassins

Oh, do give up the holier than thou.

Do you think you are going to stop it? No. Evil is very real and it comes in the form of a micro processor. "Do no evil" my ass. Human kind has already reached critical mass and there are too many monkey minds hell bend on destroying all creation. Our only hope is mercy from a greater power that can save us from our power hungry selves.

Got them...

Now we have them right where we want them...hahahaha! As the majority of bad driving decisions and accidents are caused by younger and more inexperienced drivers, we get thier souls AND get to hit them with inflated charges...heheheheeeee.

Don't use Google+? Tough, Google Glass will inject it INTO YOUR EYES

I have no idea

Why on earth amyone would wear these clown goggles. No, most people will laugh at people who do wear them. Those that do won't have the sense to take them off when it's not appropriate. Because it will never be appropriate. As soon as kids start wearing them to concerts, movies, sporting events, school exams...they will be squashed.

Re: It's the same as everything else these days

I don't need you to luv me. I am just frigging bored to tears with what today's generation is doing with technology. You would have thought we could have solved some of the world's problems by now, and don't get me started on art and music technology...Christ what a two dimensional repetitive world. All they want to do is make themselves lazier and rely on it to do everything for them...I can spot cgi from three miles away people. It's not that great. It looks and sounds like it was done...in a computer. But maybe that's where the world resides now. Maybe the real world just doesn't matter anymore.

Nanners
Childcatcher

It's the same as everything else these days

Everything relies on the computers...there really doesn't even need to be actors any more, they are just there as names to sell the movie. Just let the machine do the work for you. That is why everything is turning out so artificial and empty feeling. It's why everything is so boring and unsatisfying. Here's a hint...you can't digitally blow me up any more viciously or loudly than you already have. Don't tell that to the younger set though.

I can hold a microphone to my ass and make fart noises too, is it talented? I say again, where's the talent?

Nanners
Childcatcher

Re: soooo...

But that's the problem, kids DON"T know 3rd's fifths, ninths etc. They hit the play button and the machine makes the music, not the person. If they do know what it means they get lost in the details, it's not physical, not natural. The music is sterile, even non existent. computers have rendered the music useless. It's lost all credibility at this point. You can't deny that the decade of the 2000's was the most boring musically since man kind picked up sticks and beat on rocks. Making things sound good is called production and mastering. It's not musicianship. They are two different things. I agree softsynths have gotten very good. I had a collection of rare, expensive analog kit that I sold off and went "in the box". It makes sense now, but kids still don't know how to play them.

Nanners
Trollface

Re: soooo...

That's kind of my point exactly. If any child can pick up a laptop and hit play, there is no talent in it. Why not devote yourself to teaching kids music theory instead? Why not expose them to talented musicians instead? I don't have a problem with electronic music or programmed beats, but you have to give me SOMETHING to appreciate. Mix in a live instrument or two...or maybe you don't know how to play an instrument, but like to pretend you do?

Re: Brit Corporate Innovation

Well, if you bought in at 600 a share, come on people. You deserve to lose your money. It was too high and every one knew it. You also have to understand that in the US market there is this thing called profit taking that happens every Friday, and at the end of quarterly reports. It's a good time to buy some shares if you don't let it go too high on you. The real problem with apple is they need a new visionary leader. They still make the best consumer products on the planet and have been set up very well to succeed, but they no longer have an overall direction with out a new visionary. They need a leader. Until then they are sort of floundering around dabbling and rehashing. They need a new vision.

As odd as it sounds

Microsoft is in a very good possition here. They have already hit bottom and survived. All they have to do now is keep tweaking thier OS until everyone is happy. Apple on the other hand is only beginning thier free fall and will be hitting a difficult stretch unless they can find the right visionary to take up the slack. apple needs a visionary leader. Someone who leads the industry in new directions. People like that don't come along every day.

Funny thing about that. I was reading an article in wired magazine about how only 2% of android users are actually USING android. It's all O.S.'s built on android, but full of bloat ware and HEAVILY rebuilt to be specific to each manufacturers hardware. Only about 2% of users are getting the android experiences.
