hahaaa, I was lead to believe that Apple pull all theirs designs from the creative minds.
Seem like the only contribution made by Apple to the smartphones was marketing!!!!

I suspect they are allowed to work but must not exceed a certain amount of hours. Hence why Foxconn try to hide the overtimes.

Apple isn't abusing the FRAND patents because they've got shlt all in that pool.
So, a lot of companies spent lots of money on R&D which are used in standard tech. and everyone else must pay at FRAND.
MS & Apple can charge what they want for their patents. These example include FATS, icons displayed in rows, rounded corner on tablets, retrieving phone number from text, 3D UI that's displayed behind the screen. hahahaa.
MS & Apple are making their money on the back some really innovative like IBM, Motorola etc... And they are still complain.
This is even more so for Apple. There's nothing coming out of them even worth mentioning.
I hope they ban the iPad in China soon, they don't deserve to use such magical devices. Peasants!

I think Apple must be credited with this move. I'm willing to pay more for my iDevices if those workers get a decent wage & better working condition.

Then upgrade to iOS ... Plus, sometime you get really good deals on upgrades.
I suspect there will be a product from Apple that offers similar/same functionality coming soon.

I had used it once to find a hotel and the reviews were spot on.
The problem is Apple claiming to ethical but shown not to be by the report.
I think Apple is trying to balance Chinese workers' health to that of its shareholders.
