I have to say, I am with the Chinese on this one as otherwise you could be recalculating every time it snows!

Was a bloody good film in either of its incarnations. If you haven't seen it because it isn't the original and therefore not worth your time, it does prove sometimes a remake can be done without ballsing it up.
Also highly improbable that there will be True Grit 2 or any sort of franchise, given the directors. And the story - which would be obvious if you had seen the original which you probably haven't either.
What DRM infested stuff from iTunes? Oh, you mean the stuff they were selling a few years ago at the request of the labels, before switching to (mostly) DRM free stuff (and optionally upgrading everyones libraries for a small fee per track, including the bitrate). Unless you are one of those who thinks that AAC = evil, in which case there is no hope for you.
And tenner a month = 120 quid a year. That works out at 15 DRM-free albums on iTunes at the standard price of £7.99 (YMMV), and you don't have to dick about with Spotify's crap interface, or worry about it being blocked by proxies / firewalls. Oh, and you can also carry it with you offline.
If you want to listen to music to hear new stuff, then there is always BBC 6 Music, and the DJs rock.
See title.
"Rural" in a lot of cases could also mean large market towns, where "broadband" can sometimes exceed a whopping 1Mbs if the wind is in the right direction. Also even in large towns / cities there are broadband dead spots, where new estates get built without proper infrastructure being considered. I expect even in your miracle city of wonder, with its shining lights and fluffy pigeons, there are similar places in existence.
The sooner London disappears up its own arse the better off the rest of the country will be. Except you will all move up North and ruin it for the rest of us.
Apologies to the Londoners who aren't wankers.
I couldn't bring myself to read that past the first few pages. Complete twaddle. BOLD italics?
And her map of refuseniks over 65 - most live in rural counties, shockingly. People who want the internet, have the internet. Those who don't, don't. Leave it at that. We have libraries for the odd time someone needs to buy something off Amazon.
God I hate this woman, and everything she stands for.
Based on the disaster that was the first 2 movies, I imagine the locations will actually be "hollywood Russia" and "hollywood China" - where you can travel from Guilin in the south to the Great Wall and back to Shanghai in under a day. Or where underneath the Oriental Pearl you have all these little hutongs from Beijing to fight amongst because they look Chinese (unlike Shanghai). Can't wait for the Chinese to see that and complain that we are dissing them again.
Also, fantastic way to highlight phishing. Thumbs up for the USAAF. (Icon for Michael Bay, just because)
With both RR and Airbus having facilities affected by this, if it lasts longer than a week I imagine they will have designers locked up in rooms making plans for dust-proof engines, which they can then sell at a massive profit.
Can't roll back time you know. We have moved on from the horse and cart already.
