Why do they serve alcohol in airports and planes anyways?
seems like your asking for trouble!
I purchased a samsung GSII for 'wor lass a short while ago. I bought a tablet for her as a secret xmas box.
Then I thought, hang on, she won't use it. The tab doesnt send text messages or calls. Since this is all she seems to do, she'd not use the tab.
So if you've got a large screen phone, what exactly is the point of getting a tablet??
"......advertising sells products better than technological virtuosity does"
Which is why ipeople tend to be a bit thick. Droid owners can see through the hype and don't want to be tarred by the same brush as the easily swayed ipeople.
"but only if we use a third less electricity."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Good luck with that!
People would rather build more nuke power stations than turn the lights off after them!
Stop thinking that the populace are clever, they are not! They are just big kids!
More Money than Sense!
one for those with ZERO taste
"It’s an Apple product, which means it’s built to a standard that makes you wet your pants"
That's the reason Apple people can't be taken seriously and can only be considered bias and "nuts".
Keep your Apple, I'll remain sane.
Delete browser history on exit. Delete temp files on exit.
Open new instance for each site you wish to visit.
Traffic signal cameras already exist, and because of "lack of money", 1/2 dont work.
Bring back the cane and/or the birch. Corporal punishment for offenders might just do the trick.
You'd think twice if the punishment was public humiliation and derision.
WOW, a real life penis on legs!
"Today's parents are struggling to control children's access to the internet; software installed on the home computer is clearly ineffective in the age of iPhones and tablets"
Wow, just how thick a parent must you be, to be unable to resolve this situation!
I question their parenting abilities if they really think giving a smartphone to a sprog is a good thing. If you condone this activity and then install this softwre, you really need to look at yourself and the double standards your teaching your sprogs. <calls child services>
Though I doubt 1) you are able to understand this, or 2) care
"I do feel that the authorities should do far more to either remove or block this content at source"
This one statement shows just how poor your decisions are.
Stop blaming everyone else and expecting someone else to sort out the problems/issues you are causing.
If your kiddilees are viewing objectionable content (even with filters), you are responsible for allowing the net to baby sit!.
"all well and good other childless commentators on here saying that children should be supervised at all times, etc, etc. This just doesn't happen, and isn't realistically possible"
You Are Wrong! It is entirely possible and very simple to resolve. You simply don't want to make the right decision. Maybe you’re yet another parent who believes that letting the telly or the net babysit is responsible.
Honestly, foul, just foul. My faith in English parents to be the right thing is diminished daily.
"Apple rep Natalie Kerri told the NYT, and in no way was Cupertino trying to protect God's precious gift of life by stopping the murder of the unborn"
Are you kidding me with this?!?
Yeah, there's definately no agenda there!
"So I ask the question: When do we become responsible for our actions?"
This is Never a question, you are Always responsible at All times.
Shoot em up's are banal, couldn't think of anything more boring, well maybe David Cameron.
Punters have never seen one, or an advert for one.
You can hardly make a call based on that!
They (MS) need to get it out their now.
Perfect! Parents aint got any excuse!
Unless its a fire, charge them for attending! And even in those cases where those responsible were negligent.
After all, a childs head stuck in a tambourine is hardly something the public purse should pay for, the daft parents should fork out.
"getting spooks to warn UK consumers to update their anti-virus software on Facebook"
W O W! The stupidity never ceases to AMAZE me.
Yet again, another ill conceived idea. Who is paying this persons wages?? Your wasting your money!
Whats that noise? Baaaah, Baaaaaaaah, Baaaaaaaaaah!
Is there a farm round here?
No, but theres an Apple store just down the road.
Ah! That explains it.
How many services can be blocked before a provider loses the right to call its service "internet access" isn't specified, so would come down to a case-by-case discussion.
Clear as mud as usual then. Whats wrong with the English? They seems a bit "thick"!
"Apple has yanked out its app without a hint of explanation"
The drones will do as commanded and like it!
Wow, how OTT homosexual was that response??
Chill man! It's not f king important.
Battery usage is down to your settings and usage.
I've tweaked my settings and can get nearly 48 hours usage from my Desire S!
If your whinging about battery life, sort it out!
"...I'll be upgrading my iPhone 4 soon"
"Hello Day Old News?"
"Yeah cancel his subscription!"
"He'll be giving his business to Behind the Times"
"Apple bought the recognition tech in 2010 from Swedish company Polar Rose"
So much for those fans who bang on about Apples creativity!
iDevice users are not clever enough to be able to source their requirements from free or low cost offerings, instead purchasing full price apps.
