Ladies cut the clap trap.
The virus has been written for OSX, regardless of how it gets installed.
OSX is just as shit as 'dows or 'ux.
Does she not realise that there are far superior handsets available?
iPhone5, please. What a load of old shite!
There is always some knobhead who wants to use their i(fanny)Pad.
Keep tech thingies banned from flights!
Re: Why the subtitle?
Good ole English, talking shite as usual!
Because, a journo writes anti-apple commentary, the output becomes invalid?
Back to your iPad, saddo!
Re: Why would anyone in China want an Apple ...
"iThingies ... as common as dirt."
Like their owners!
"Sell your kidney for an iPhone or your pride for Android"
W O W.
The stupidity is off the scale!
"..this reads like Obviously!, after some remedial English lessons, and the forcible application of a spell checker."
WRONG! Not that that is any surprise!
Some coward bleeting on the usual rubbish! Grow a pair or go to school!
Re: Difficulty vs annoyance
"@Obviously - to take an example, the Ribbon interface. It's not difficult, but it slows you down, requires more concentration and thinking, and is generally unpleasant to use, especially for experienced or power users. Ditto with Metro."
Doesn't slow me down! Is it maybe because I know what I'm doing??
Whats so wrong with "concentration and thinking"? Is this too much?
You know yourself, the more you use something and LEARN, the easier and faster it becomes to operate.
But the whinging masses in 'ere today shames us all!
Re: I've said it before and I'll say it again....
What utter bollox! Tho, I expect it!
"conviction for gross indecency"
Its should be Google/Apple and the ilk who need to be prosecuted for gross indecency!
"I'd really like a valid argument as to why W8 is such a let down instead of the constant moan about the start button."
Our "technical" brethern will be embarrassed when, once its settled down, they look back and wonder why they whinged on like a little girl.
To the nay sayers I say, grow up! Stop bleeting on and learn to use it. May be you'll realise that the features are actually better than you thought!
Re: Have they ...
"Wonder if the EULA for Windows 8 includes a cop-out absolving Microsoft from responsibility for the neck and shoulder strains people will suffer when they spend all day reaching out to touch their screens. "
WTF are you talking about?
Why would you do that?
Heard of a mouse/keyboard?
I'm struggling to understand why people are so stupid when it comes to Win8.
No wonder MACs are so popular now, the fisher-price OS is needed as society seems to become more stupid as the days roll by!
Re: Some saddos will like Win8
And knobend kids will make shitty sweeping comments with no fking basis, demonstrating just how stupid our youth are!
Well done son, now back to your iPad.
I dont understand how supposed "clever, technical" people are so bamboozled by Win8?
Whats so hard to understand?
Instead on deaktop and start button, you are presented by a start screen. Applications open and the screen orientation can be adjusted.
What is so fking difficult?
"seems to hammer the battery"
Oh better carry some spare batteries and portable charger then, or your phone wont last till lunch time. Still you think it looks good!
Re: Works fine on my ipad
""Only one way to find out ... FIGHT!"
Excellent idea - where's the fight?"
Really? Which fking school do you goto?
BEST OPTION AVAILABLE
BIN THE SHITTY iPHONE.
Get something decent!
"Are we all becoming fanboys? If you broaden the term beyond those who favour Apple products to encompass folk keen on Samsung kit, the answer appears to be yes."
RETARDS! The lot of them!
Now just shut your face and purchase my products NOW!
NO, not ALL of us are fanboys, only the feeble!
"the vast majority of bank cards issued in the UK support pay-by-tap"
I thought it must have the "symbol" on it to indicate that it has NFC chip in it?
My D card doesn't!
Doesn't track mouse movements on the extended screen!
I can browse as much as I want and no mouse movements are being recorded.
As soon as I move the mouse to the primary display, then you can see the mouse movements being tracked.
Also, it doesn't show you what is being clicked and it doesn't show you what is being displayed on screen.
Re: Facebook likes to make frequent changes to privacy settings
"If you were a paying customer of Facebook this would be entirely different of course. But fee based social networks are unlikely to work on a large scale due to the existence of Facebook, Google et al."
Everyone wants owt for nowt!
Re: The missing options thread
Should have thought about this BEFORE signing up!
Deserve what you get!
Re: voting system was borked
"Vote with your feet"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA like taht would happen!
Howelese would your facebook "Friends" be fifty faced towards you?
"While it can be good as a keeping in touch medium"
I keep in touch with people who mean something to me. I visit them, I email them, I text them, I call them, I meet them.
So "keeping in touch medium" means being fifty faced with people you don't really care about.
Of course I would not expect most humans to understand this because most of them are fifty faced, underhanded lowlives.
This whole world is BENT!
I'm sick of being surrounded by the scummiest lowlives, pikey, chavvy dirt!
If the rules can be bent, they will be, and Jack to freedom of speech/expression.
"to call someone a crook" is a statement, you are defaming X.
You should be able to say "I think X is a crook".
Your not stating that X is a crook, you are saying that in YOUR opinion you think X is a crook.
Re: What could Apple bring to the table?
"To take one example: Channel up/down works in the live TV section. It doesn't generally let you switch between BBC 1 and BBC 2 in the iPlayer app. For that, you have a different set of buttons to press."
Never! Whoda thunk it. Your blind devotion to Apple is scary.
Re: What could Apple bring to the table?
"The main problem is the vast collection of remote controls and their associated buttons that you need to control the TV and all the other stuff attached to it. Apple would definitely sort that out by reducing the number of buttons you have to chose between to get the thing to do what you want.
The second big problem is the confusing array of different user interfaces you have to deal with, depending on where you are. Apple would make that much more consistent.
In terms of features, I would expect an Apple TV to have fewer features than other TVs, but this may not be a bad thing if you can actually use the features it does have."
W O W! and you wonder why Appleites have a poor reputation! Thanks for that demo.
1) Remote controls? WTF are you whittering on about woman?
2) Apple will make "confusing interfaces" more consistent? Bollox, what channel up/down to confusing for applites?
3) Useability of features? EH? Can you not read? If you don't understand, I'm sure a Apple/Fisher Price UI will help the halfwits.
What utter crap you spout.
Re: Apple Still Got Mildura Wrong After Update
"Police have confirmed five vehicles have become stranded in the park, with many more people presumed to have become lost but found there way back to civilisation."
How many iPhone owners are still out there?
Well, they will be stupid!
Re: expanding the ways in which customers can interact with Surface
apparently mrfill doesn't know how to use a tablet!
Re: numbers game?
safe to say mike has an iPad! FAIL!
Re: And...The same applies to their WinPhone8 offering
As per usual, IT director who knows F all!
MS need to dumb down to catch prospective apple purchasers. Shiny shop, clone army, done.
MS purchasers know what they are getting.
Windows 8 cleans the floor with its competition regards useability.
Instead of bitching like your lass, why not try it? Take your droid/apple glasses off first, if that is possible?
I have an 8s for testing purposes and "the ability to reject calls by sending an automated, prewritten text." is already available.
The solution would be to have legal protection from these f’king peasants. Of course this will never happen because those who are in it for the money, are allowed to get away with anything they can think of, without any recourse!
I don’t want ANY information being shared, it's got F all to do with ANYBODY (Private or Public bodies) what I do/say/purchase/visit, etc....
I'll investigate all options to keep my information secure and away from nosey bastards.
I NEVER buy products because of advertising. If I need/want something, I'll investigate myself.
I don't need to be spoon fed ads and I don't need these fucktards profiling me for ANY reason whatsoever.
The first retard to mention "free stuff" needs to be headed.
W O W, the most obvious story ever!
You work in "big data" and didn't know of, or think of the consequences?
Why not? Why wasn't it until you became concerned about your offspring did you start to consider the evils?
Thanks for highlighting just how blinkered society really is.
Turn the lights on, and the telly and the stereo and the PC........etc......
I don't care, it's the future generation who will suffer, I'll be long gone!
