@Levente Szileszky
the article says nothing about the diesel kicking in above 50 kmph and CLEARLY states that both engines are NEVER deployed at the same time.
@AC 10:21 GMT
Read the bloody article. The car would NEVER switch from front to rear wheel drive mid bend. While under electric power the diesel engine would not even be running.
Buttons down one side...
"Nothing’s been revealed about the board’s features, but various shots clearly show buttons down one side. Could these be used for controlling the on-screen skating action?" Your having a laugh right ? Yeah sure u will hold the skateboard in your hand and control the action with the buttons on the side..............
Cost...
"...By the time you purchase photo, audio and video software for a PC, you probably will have spent more than you would if buying a comparable Apple Computer." So how would buying photoshop for the mac not add to the cost ???
Stupid Professor
So this guy is a professor and yet he doesnt know the difference between a fake and a forgery ?
Hi Res ???
Are u sure the high res shot is not a painting ?? Someone got caried away with the ISO settings.
Still Impressive.
It still shows that for everyday use (driving to work and back) that leccy cars are fine. Most people could go a week or 2 without having to recharge.
@ The BigYin 10:52 GMT
Get with it man... Large (very large) HDTV's can be had for less than 500 quid. with none of the problems u mention. Shows broadcast with suround sound have been around for years.
@ROI 12:31 GMT
"Lets say this is £25k more than equivalent petrol model." Its 34k, so u must be talking about that 9k petrol car that look like an Aston and does 0-60 in 4 secs.............emmmmmm which car would that be ?????
@Nick Oakley
So how come Japan didnt come up with storage format for HD movies in the 90's then ?? 20 years ahead my arse...
@Mark
The Z is where the Y should be and vice versa.
@SO
That is so true. All these stories about bypassing UAC and we are all going to turn it off anyway.
@ Hackers
So U hacked into a PC u had physical access to, well done mate. If they were running XP then u wouldnt even of had to guess the passwords. If they were only used for access to the Cbeebies site then what would be wrong with a clean install of windows and only the Cbeebies site on a white list. Then u could set a restore point to this. Hardly a fate worse than death........
Calm down peeps
Everyone is getting so caried away. SD cards first came out in 1999 and it took nearly 10 years for them to get up to 32GB. There wont be any 2TB cards out any time soon. I think if we are lucky there might be a 100GB card by the end of this year. @ Tony I think there is plenty life left in optical devices. The media is so cheap to produce.
@Sam
Yeah cos no one has ever had any hassle with Canon, HP, Epson or Samsung have they ?? Get a life m8.
@ Journalist's Impression
"Could be better...where's the flag, the footprints, the base on the lander...and where are the moon people?" The whole Apollo 11 thing was fake hence no footprints etc. And the Journalist's impression was from a Tuesday. Moon people neva come out on a Tuesday.
A lot of Jealous people
There are a lot of Jealous people on here. Sugar is minted and your not get over it. My first computer was a 464 and it kicked the C64's ass.
@ Just Brilliant
No your TV is not obsolete. Ok so u might need an HD freeview box in a couple of years time but so what? That will be 3 and a half years after you bought your telly.
""30% more data carrying capacity" which I'll bet won't translate into higher quality broadcast, just extra shopping channels and other shite.""
No the extra bandwidth is for HD content, can u actually read ?
@ Alternative
Your PA system might "blow this stuff into the weeds.." as far as volume is concerned, but we are only interested in sound quality.
RE That Screenshot
Yes its a fake, and not a very good one.
Philips Shaver
My Philips shaver tell me exactly in minutes how long the battery has left. I've always wanted a phone that did the same.
Re: What an odd argument
If I was creating malware I would hardly only target only people who use sony usb drives with finger print readers, that would be crazy. So what happens if someone deletes your visible folder ? I'll tell u what happens, the owner of the finger is screwed. Anyway as has been said, any virus writer could create a invisible folder, they don't need help from sony. Play your CD's on a decent HIFI, they will sound a lot better anyway.
Re Final nail...
Re Final nail "I have steadily been going off Sony ever since I bought one of their MD players who's management software would only install on a manufacturer-installed version of Windows XP" U mean u couldn't install the software on your pirate copy of XP. There is no such thing as software that only installs on Dell branded XP. And all u guys moaning about root kit. The root kit was on sony cd albums for 6 MONTHS before anyone even noticed. Then a story appeared on the net about it and suddenly everyone was up in arms. Get a life guys. Do u really think fingerprint verification should be stored in a visible folder ??
@ But...
Wispa was nothing like Dairy Milk Bubbly. There are no bubbles in the wispa. It had a velvet texture inside. I just remember the adds... "the people who make them dont know how to make them ? .... Logic really"
RE Er...portrait mode?
Actually mate it is a cut out, these samsungs donts have proper depth of field control. Just a choice of 2 pre focused areas in the centre of shot. So blame the camera not the reviewer
MTT perspective
"I have friends who made upwards of $2500 on Playstation 3's last November"... NO U havent. PS3 has been a sales disaster. People may have qued for it but it, didnt come close to selling out. Now remember the Pink razor v3. Wish I'd bought half a dozen of thoes before Christmas 2005 I could have made a killing. U dont need innovation, just a coat of pink paint :)
RE Validation blues
So your complaining cos u cant update your dodgey copy of XP to fix a problem that isn't even effecting u ? U have lost the plot mate. And people who write microsoft with a $ are sad. U dont even have to down load the patch from microsoft. Good luck with Red Hat.
Noise
The problem of packing so many mega pixels on a small sensor is noise. High ISO snaps on this baby will look like a snowman in a snow storm. Ony 15 frames per sec in video mode ? Thats poor even at HD res. 8 frames per second at 12 mega pixel is impresive though. My moneys says it wont out perform the Fuji F30 which is only 6 mega pixel and has superb control over noise. Maybe when people see that a 6 megapixel camera can out perform a 12 mega pixel one then the mega pixel war will end.... Who am I kidding, stand by for 20 mega pixel cameras LOL
Re Hmmm
Gary never said RAID was a backup solition, just that u would need another 2 or 3 drives to back up your RAIDed 1TB drives. Pay attention Allan.
wide screen ?
"I convert each episodes of widescreen programmes to H.264 at 768x576 so it works on my widescreen TV"..... 768x576 is 4 3 Not wide screen
