Re: OK I'll feed the troll
Well put sir!
Leaps and bounds
Indeed this application has come a long way, it may not have the fancy transition effects etc of Flipboard on my iPad but for consumption of media it is nice. Be it on a tablet or phone.
I know people will always compare against iPad offerings as it is the reference standard, but once you get past the flippy effects, it is still the same text your reading at the end of the day! :)
No commander option
Why oh why did you remove the commander option Dice? You could have kept it for the PC version.
shouldn't that read
exploit peoples greed?
One of the killer iPad apps
For media consumption this must be the best application I have used. I haven't found any other application that brings it all together and presents it as well on any other tablet platform I have owned (except Playbook no plans to buy one)
Barry
Not surprised
My PS3 is going to be on Blu Ray only duty from now on.
You were kind enough to e-mail me to let me know you lost my data, so where is my free credit check Sony?
re:but
Hi, actually I had one of the HardDrive players and currently have a Zune HD, both are robust players with excellent audio and build quality.
The Zune service is excellent, I actually signed up to the US one before it was avalable over here and that coupled with the excellent Zune PC software made for a great experience.
I have had a lot of MP3 players and have to say I prefer the HD over the other ones I had including my iPod touch, if your not that fussed about apps.
The Zune PC software is better IMO than iTunes on my Mac, so that in itself is a testament.
Such is the quality of the player and the software on it I have been slightly disappointed with the implemetation on my HD7, but its early days yet for WP7.
But as usual the MS haters knock it down without ever actually using the product, hope they keep the Zune streaming etc around.
Looking forward to it
Looking foward to WP7 to give it a spin. The more competition in the mobile space the better for the consumer.
Hopefully Nokia will also get itself out the rutt, and HP can rejuvinate Palm, WebOS is a gem, the best mobile OS I have used so far (inc iOS / Android)
Don't want the mobile arena to turn in to a 2 horse race.
Agree with nordwars
Yes lets wait and see, also to IT Specialist, the iPhone did not release with copy paste, so as a first release it is not unique, give it time.
Having used the METRO UI via the Zune HD I already like the layout of the OS, virtual k/b is pretty good as well for its size.
not just the fanbois?
Maybe it is an indicator that it is not just the fanbois / early adopters buying them? Is Apple now at the point where a new Apple tech product is seen as a mainstream commodity? (if you have the ££) Just a thought.
I'm waiting....
For the iPad mini to come out in time for xmas.......
