There is a reason Tony Stark uses a fictional ARC reactor; the power needs for a suit of power armour is massive. Without a very effecient, and small battery these suits are going to very limited in range: the length of the power cord. I wonder what sort of plug they will use? Or will the just carry an adapter for all the oil rich countries?
one of the reasons HD took off so quicklywas the ps3 and a lesser extent the xbox. Game geeks wanted to see the much better graphics offered by the then next gen consoles. The ps4 and the xbone arnt offering 4k visuals, so i cant see a lot of people upgrading there sets till the ps5 or the xbox destiny (or what ever silly moniker they use, actually i might trademark that name....)

not really. Except the xbox, name me a MS hardware project that works brilliantly?
Infact even the Xbox is a failure: they spent billions buying market share, and so far, according to everyones best guess, still havnt made any profit from it. Everyone that bought a 360 has had mutliples due to the RROD issue, mostly at Microsofts expense.
MS suck balls when it comes to hardware. Oh sorry, i loved my 1996 sidewinder joystick. I killed a lot of rebel scum with it. But i dont think one ancient joystick saves MS's perpetual hardware cock ups
edit: now i think about it that joystick lasted about 6m before it died.....
Dont worry i know exactly what i give up to use google and there spiders web of services. And i think its worth it. Ads dont bother me, profiling dosent bother me, looking at my emails for keywords dosent bother me, i dont care if they know where i live and what adult entertainment i enjoy or what i eat for supper. I understand why it would for some people, and as soon as it bothers me, i will give them the heave ho, no matter how painful. But googles "free" services are among the best in the business, and suit me perfectly.
Im giving it to them willingly. In return they give the best internet search engine, a very good mobile OS, a great browser, and a tremendous cloud storage solution. Plus as a bonus they allow me to buy amazingly specced mobile phones, and tablets for very cheap prices.
A.I. with robots will happen, sooner rather than later. Having a sentiant and inteligent machine is the ultimate User Interface. As a kid i never understood why C3PO would have been proggramed to have a personality, but now i realise its to make telling it what to do easier. Instead of having to click an icon, and programmme a set of actions, you could simply tell it what you want.
I dont think however that we have anthing to worry about machines rising up, its simply a great plot device. As the robotic A.I.s creators we can ensure they enjoy what ever job they have,and would never consider anything else.

i find thier phones cheaply built. But also expensive. I think there rise to prominance was a combination of the galaxy s2, which for the time, was amazing and keenly prised and there sponsership of chealski football club.
There TV's are pretty damn good however.
I thought this was the reg? Why wouldnt you want a wearable heads-up display, connected to the vast knowledge of the web? Id have one implanted into my eye if i could. id rather those than the overly friendly moronic robots you get serving. "sorry for making you wait" "do you need help to pack your bags" "any plans for the weekend?" then they try to hand you a plastic chip to help decide which of 3 stupid charties should get that months tax deductable gift. dogs? children? lesbian midgets with dyslexia?
I truly hated when they started trying to give lectures on why i shouldnt be using the free plastic bags as it was bad for the evironment, my responce that the earth had reveresed poles at least 3 times in its history, had gone thro numerous ice ages, survived massive meteor and volcanic disruptions and still stood, was met with a blank vacant stare. bah!

Its the 1st thing i thought of too. HD 3d chat would be very cool. But i dont the infrastructure is anywhere near that level yet. Maybe somone in south korea could 3d chat with someone else in south korea.
