Are you a Tory-voting IT contractor? Congrats! Osborne is hiking your taxes

<shakes head>

try being a contractor

with 10% cut whenever the company must be seen to be tough and rates not gone up in 8 years, with a big dip in the middle.

You do know that a final salary pention is worth 30% of you pay packet, if you have one of those.

in this world some win and some lose at different times, you can always jump the fence for the greener grass.

to be clear in the last decade i have been permie 3 times and had 8 contracts some returning after a break.

if you want unfair, try the our .com is being bought and we are making a fortune, as a thanks have a choclate orange on your way out. :¬) that was fun

I think you will find it only the know algae of good and evil, so morality not all knowledge, the concept that the universe and world before the was made, and therefore understandable is the foundation of modern science. Believing the rest is up to the rader to decide.

i do belive you are mistaken, this is thee result of the west removing it's heavy hand from those areas (post 1945), this is what is was like before the days of empire, everyone breaking into smaller and smaller groups and a us and them mentality. with empire the Empire was always them and so everyone got on a whole lot better.

Home automation while it's hot: Winter warmth for lazy technophiles

<shakes head>

why a thermostat

the new bolier i put in uses the return flow temp and an outside termometer to learn about the house and adjust the temp in a slide as it approches the desired set point, this has saved about 15% in 6 months on a yearly bill and the house is more comforable, along with programable radiator thermostats, while not wirelss does give you great control, also the radiator thermostats are just clip on ones for existing ones.

Re: Feminists are irritating

if you really believe the world is male dominated then you have a problem, different areas are dominated by different genders, try being a bloke in HR, or on th eother hand a girl in the stock market.

i have a real dificulty in the idea that equal means the same. men and woman are different but should be valued as people the same. th elaw seems to thing that we are all the same.
