Re: With 20Mp sensor - NOW will you try Windows Phone 8?

Would be curious to know exactly what aspect you think is crap. Have you even used it as a primary phone for longer then it takes to fondle it on a display stand in the shop? I find it far quicker and easier then Android\iOS.

Right on time

Been looking for some guidance with these tablets, I've been using the phone OS for a couple of years now and am actually quite impressed, so willing to give the tablet a try on that merit, it's also nice to be the black sheep once in a while, hearing how much people hate these things without ever actually booting one up and trying it for daily tasks. Reminds me of old debates lost in time! ;)

Works...

13 years ago, SimCity 2000 was responsible for me passing Business Studies, crack on EA!

Pretty good...

Been using it on WP7 for a while now and it's pretty good, responsive, even lets you use it over the mobile network (but rightly warns you it might be a tad slow!)

I confess I'm the younger generation who keep Facebook\Twitter as a purely 'social' medium. Locked down accounts and selective adding of real friends negates the boss problem of reading your tweets. Simple. Corporate presence is simply the industry playing catch up (and slowly destroying the medium in the process).

You mean wicd?

Technically, nothing wrong with the BackTrack distrib, the problem is in wicd.

Performance?

What about doing some performance\benchmarking on these phone reviews, the most important factor for me is the speed\performance of the GUI (especially on Windows Mobiles!).

Homage to a fellow techie?

Well as much as I like your usual work - this is a man who said 'Fuck it' to the corporate bullshit and pursued his dreams all the while remaining technical. Yes he's an Apple yes-man, but a techie non the less, doesn't he deserve better?
