Re: Hand goes up
Buy one, skip one, buy one skip one (repeat)
*Cough* Thunderbolt *Cough*
Video capture through various devices... and ports...
Oh yes :-)
Aye - There's a Story Here
I had the email from Fyodor today, and wanted to push this over to some one at El Reg but couldn't find a link to submit (before my brain wandered on to other stuff.... : "WooHoo! Earthlike planet!!")
It's shocking to see that a 'stalwart' (loosest possible meaning of the term) of the download repositories has done this..
"Bad C|Net.. Bad!"
Where as I sincerely appreciate what Flash has down for the internet, I have always been a sceptic for its use.
In my experience it slowed down machines, crashed websites, and needed a further update/plugin/install for it to work. The same went for Silverlight.
I prefer nice, clean code that all parties, browsers, and devices can use with little or no additional fuss.
Kelly "The Red" Fiveash does it again..
""Large swathes of the countryside will be able to access super-fast broadband as BT continues its roll-out and as funds already lined up by the government become available in the next five years or so," it said."
...Sort of goes against the tag line, Kelly...!!
"It's a Trap!" - Admiral Akbar
"They told me they fixed it... It's not my fault!"
That is all.
Had to read the title twice..
I honestly thought Sky had branched out on a tangent...
(p.s. Where's the "Smut Angle" icon?)
Potted Heid/Hough/whatever - EU regs
Funny, as I went into a butchers North of the Border and got some. Whoever told you that one is mis-informed (even if it is the EU themselves).
And no.. not disgusting, just rediculously fattening and life shortening.
Still good though :-)
I feel I've read this article somewhere else before.......
Questionable time stamps on the video, as I have seen the second segment at the end of last year...
Blackhelicopters, as something is turning rank very quickly...
Logged on, clicked disable, carried on.
nothing to see here..
I always wanted Max Zorin's Zepplin.
That was back in 1987, and I STILL want it!
Bring the gracious giants back to the skies please
Think of it more like you would need to have your listening device within the workstation to be able to snoop the info being transfered. 14mm isn't that great a distance, and you would need to be within that 14mm radius to pick it up.
Personally, thin kthis is an interesting idea, aside from Wize's (quite correct) security issue.
There might be a use for this in the future, but it's far too early to say.
3 freaking months I've been waiting for an i7.. 3!
Some say I've been lucky with not having one from the start, but the fact of the matter is it just wasn't ready yet..
Strangely though, I'm still waiting patiently for one..... Yes yes, you can call me stupid, I don't mind.
Adoption of "Slacktivism"
Heh "Avoid Detection"
From the F-Secure article:
"In order to avoid detection, it bypasses the local web proxy when doing this connection. "
So that'll mean it'll show up on the firewall then... Oh wait.. you mean it wasn't set up accordingly??
Shirley, you can't be serious?
I just ask the steward/dess for one - very usually have one spare. But then again, a pen is always in my carryon.. until such time that someone uses one (or similar) to be silly with..
Suggest taking one on a US flight as you'll be needing one for a while :-)
Let me know..
..when you are going to do this. Always wanted to see the expression of a someone trying a joke at Airport Security..
Mine's the one with the deckchair, beer, and theatre glasses to watch the impending show
What he said...
Firstly - Love that Roy Batty is alive and well with a phone number, must give him a call to say the Chew only does eyes..
Swecondly - Who was this guy again? He had a crib sheet that he read off from... surely he should know all this by now...??
Alas no, check the clip at 1:09. that is definitely a single piece hinge clip that is angled at a right angle: screen up, keyboard down.
I really like your idea though, and Motorola should take note!
Notice prior to Xmas
I'm sure I read on El Reg that they were going to cull the much beleagued Tiscali. I decided not to move email addresses until they actually did. Now they have, I'm a-moving off of them and their spammy lists!
