Re: Fake info
There is ignorant.
And there is willfully ignorant.
I only have sympathy for those in the first group.

To be fair, that additonal money might be to cover the extra support that Macs need in a locally managed environment. Macs work great as stand-alone computers, but the moment you try to put a centralised management system between them and Apple HQ, they are a whole world of pain and torment for users and administrators alike!
I'll go with the latter. Us (edge)-aspies usually are usually aware of our limitations and have developed work-arounds by that stage in life.
My money is on 'Non-violent sociopathy laced with a good dollop of narcissism." Typical big-corp-management stuff.
Use greek letters and dingbats. Or even all these emoji that are cluttering up unicode these days!
Seriously people! Isn't assuming the only thing .bro could imply is the 'Bro' culture the true horribly sexist attitude? I would use .bro and not .br on principle against that alone.
The last time I encountered this level of explicitly-willfull-stupidity in the human race it was taking witchcraft testimony from a horse. And I am pretty sure the people making the PC fuss are exactly the types who would have kept themselves occupied in centuries past having women they didn't like the look or sound of burned alive 'for their own good'! These NUSes* are not interested in bettering the human condition and are a major part of what is holding it back.
*Nus, noun - from a Sherry S. Tepper novel - Acronym: 'No Useful Skills'. Used to describe people with that attribute.
I once left a large breadboard covered in components and wires on a seat at the train station near my trade college. Jumped the train back at the next stop to find it still sitting there un-molested 15 minutes later. The 90's were a far more innocent age.
A friend of my sister once did one of those blind-date-type shows ('Perfect Match', IIRC, on some Australian commercial channel we didn't get out in the countryside at the time.)
For that show at least, all the contestants were preped in advance by being asked the questions before the show and giving their honest answers. Then a team of writers 'sexed up' their answers for them to use when the show was recording. So the answers given weren't entirely made-up, but were not the 'genuine' answers either.
You owe me one new keyboard (a Bat Chordable one).
While there are certainly individuals of maturity (and even intelligence and integrity) in the population, taken as a species.... There is a reason if there is intelligent life out there it isn't contacting us, even if it knows we are here.
