I used one of these. Magnesium case, no harddisk, no fan, therefore totally silent. A crowd gatherer like no other computer before or since.
Unfortunately they were replaced by the GRIDcase and other with a appallingly unreliable metal cased external power supply which could be shoved into a metal-lined hole in the magnesium case where it would first overheat then fail. My company used to get replacement power supplies from GRiD Uk quite literally by the case full.
Fun machine tho'.
What a dumb statement. Since Firesheep was released the business of stealing cookies has become something that any crook, snooper, or idiot can do. Using the "underlying vulnerability" was more-or-less restricted to tech-savvy crooks of whom there will be fewer. Detecting Firesheep must be a good thing.
even if cans are better than both of them. Until all the products I use are supplied in cans I don't have an alternative to buying glass bottles. When they use recycled glass to make new glass the recycled glass reduces the amout of electricity used in the furnace by a considerable amount.
This article seems to suggest that NOT recycling glass is better than recycling it., which has got to be wrong.
Virgin might not have download caps but since they can/will/do restrict download speeds for up to TEN hours a day to 25% of what you have paid for (except on 50MB) they probably don't need to.
If you have Virgin 2MB they can restrict you for 24hours per day.

Having said that, 20 GB per month is PATHETIC.
