Did you get that done on the NHS? I've had the condition since I was a kid (after getting Mumps, so I'm told) and it often drives me bonkers....
... Mind you, when I was a kid, I thought it was because I had a computer in my head cox it sounded all electronic :(
I Hate Terry Wogan
My Tinnitus was never a real problem for me until I heard Terry Wogan say that you should never listen to it because if you do, it'll get worse.
Of course, the first thing you do when someone tells you not to listen to something is...
Insecure about their goods
I really quite like Google stuff software and online services, but a killer for me is that what I find crucial today may not be available tomorrow because the functionality isn't 'popular enough'.
Not sure what kind of customers they're trying to help with that kind of approach.
If they're not vegetarians, what happens when they come here and develop a taste for human meat?
Just the popylar ones
I named YouTube, Facebook et al but these are just the more popular 'above ground' websites. Ask your mum to turn off your parental controls and you'll find there's a lot of stuff out there which allows for the kind of bullying I described.
And I repeat, education (that's EDUCATION) is the better way to deal with this - educating children in the same way we educate them in terms of what to eat, don't talk to strangers, read good books, don't take drugs, don't kill and do be nice to people.
I'll show you mine if you show me yours...
... was all very well when it was just two kids exploring, but when that turns into humiliation because when girls who (stupidly) trusted their boyfriends enough to send them a sexy photo find that photo all around the school, it turns into something way more sinister and has caused harm in the past.
You may be willing for your daughter to explore like that with a boy, but do you want a compromising photo being sent all around the school? Put on Facebook and Twitter and YouTube?
However, education not prosecution, is the better solution.
It's Always an Accident
Are these deliberate? I know that I accidentally send an x here-and-there because I have to put it at the end of texts to my girlfriend. I always send an apology/courtesy text if I do send a rogue x.
What are you afraid of?
So someone sees blood on a stone up a mountain and decides to organise a prayer meeting about it. What's the problem?
If there's nothing in it, it's just a bunch of people talking to someone who doesn't exist and no harm done. If there is something in it, they're praying about the blood-shedding on a mountain and not about gays and people shagging what they shouldn't be shagging.
It sounds like the Sex Party are jumping on something for the sheer spite of it, nothing more. They're the first to complain when religious people turn up at their shingdings and shout nasty things. And their choice of alternative is interesting; they hate a religion that says what they do is wrong and prefer one that would kill them for it?
Why do they even care? They should be worrying about the fundamentalists lobbying in government buildings, not those having prayer meetings up a mountain, unless those prayer meetings are to a real person who can actually do something.... and the Sex Part people are afraid?
Sounds like the Sex Party want to remove the rights of people to worship freely, even if that worship (or praying or whatever) is up a remote mountain where nobody can see them.
Bill Gates because WIndows, also, is supposed to be open for anybody, as long as they do things that Microsoft likes.
