Alas, no, it's a conversion. (per realorfake3d.com, anyway.)
It rings a faint bell
...and didn't it have a decidedly NSFW counterpart?
The muckier parts of my brain want to have been 69.com, but that seems a bit too obvious.
'Large marine animal', yes...
...but how do they know it's the right one?
Re: Being what now?
Spruik (Verb) - To promote a thing or idea to another person.
I'd got the gist from context, but I had to go looking for a proper definition.
Re: Hope it's just a Dyson sphere
You aim the thing very carefully.
if the other lot are managing to move their planet out of the way of your (precisely calculated) beam path, you might need a bigger gun...
Black helicopter because it's the closest to the LASER warning sign.
MAF to ePUB
They already have done - http://www.grabmybooks.com/
Re: All I want to know
(Less facetiously, yes, unless they hook your local transmitter up to it, in which case, it will be as accurate (so long as you account for light-speed lag from the base station, anyway...)
How big do they get?
A quick search suggests a diameter at burst altitude for a (presumably large) 1,200 gram balloon is 30 feet (9.144 metres).
...though that was this morning.
Last night, when I installed it, it told me abcTajpu - an addon with every character and symbol under the sun - wasn't compatible...
Will Universal Time do?
14:18 UT* (+/- 7 hours), as per
*call it GMT if you like...
re: Phone proximity
I played around with a bluetooth PC-locking program three or four years ago.
Couldn't get it to _un_lock it automatically, though...
A battery of complaints...
According to the iFixit teardown I looked at the other day, the battery is merely *not user replaceable* - it's 'fixed' in the sense of having to disconnect a ribbon cable and pull the blue 'battery removal' tag (after removing the back with a spudger or pallete knife), not soldered in place...
(Now for a suitable icon... Facepalm? Nuke? Sod it - Coat.)
Mind duly boggled.
14,000,000,000 kilometres* turns out to be 12.97 light-hours.
*we should be using megametres at these distances, surely...
Is one thing. 'σ' is another. (It's a lowercase - but not word-final - Sigma (Σ).)
...which is the one I always think of first when someone mentions 'NASA' and 'Orion' together.
Icon - Orion flavour (thermo?)nuclear pringles.
This is what I've been waiting for since the iPhone.
Is it feasible to do away with cables (and their ports) entirely, now we have inductive charging and drag-and-drop file transfer over wifi?
If it's running 2.2 (as it should be)...
[Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > $APPLICATION > Move to SD card] should help.
Nice to see a proper file manager interface. I'll have to give it a go.
It's definitely there

I, for one...
...welcome our HE consuming Ovine Overlords.
...so that'd be a Tom Cruise Missile, then.
These are new?
I bought mine (16Gb) back in mid April. For not quite £22...
I think it's the other way around - It seems to say we'll be plugging our iWhatevers into our Macs and using them as external/secondary displays.
Hmm... Mac Mini + iPad?
It looks more like a sausage to me. (Y'know, one of those odd-coloured chip shop ones.)
@John Smith 19
The drone downlink feed wasn't encrypted in the first place, so that's hardly a fair comparison.
And another one...
...who'll be dusting Neuromancer off.
/the one with the Ono-Sendai in the pocket, if you would.
@ Michael Miller
It's back up now
