It connects to the PC which connects to the Internet, and even this cannot be achieved without Titsups (totally inability to stream usual programmes seamlessly). Maybe it's TV these days, the programmes are almost entirely made of recycled crap, so maybe the inability to stream is part of the shitshow.
Don't mention Firefox, I am fed up havig to close the browser altogether during adverts as after a while ....... the volume icon no loner works, f11 doesn't work, the only button that works is the Windows STOP icon.
It doesn't do this if I watch a film on DVD. Only when I watch TV, especially if I watch a film.
Is GCHQ pissed 'cos I don't NEED to buy a TV licence ?
Is Microshite pissed 'cos I never visit their on-line store ?
Is Google pissed 'cos I am too soddin' poor to buy anything other than food ?
Is it the end of the TV world as we know it ? YEAH ! Thank your lucky stars whilst you can see them, 'cos you'll need a smart TV soon as the night sky will be full of communications satalites beaming down Samsung adverts............

No denying it, it's slower than it was, cannot be secured like it used to be, yawn, more forks, better Guy Fawks blew it up along with all the various forks.
I just want a sodding browser, not a fucking three ring bleeding edge circus.
When will developers get a fucking life and start using their creations for some proper work, not more sodding development for developments sake.
It's a bloody sewcurityu nightmare, even if your a GEEK............these days

In the UK we still haven't been able to dislodge BT from it's uncompetative pole position in the ISP market, all carriers except Virgin must use the BT hardware equipment. Peeps have been screaming out for years that it's not competative, but our privileged society wouldn't be what it is without that same old blue chip insider trading bollox.......which supposedly distinguishes democratic society from a tryannical one.

Another of Microsoft's wet dreams continues into the wakefull world of 2021, 8Gb, SSD only, IPV6 trix for the security pricks and it will still struggle to put a decent moving image on the screen, 'cos the icons have rounded corners..............
What a sham, a scam, in fact it's like fat in the pan, I do not like it man ..............
No wonder the world is in a jam, we are using a frying pan for preserving the fruits of our labour, when a working printer/scanner was all I ever wanted .............

This is just the active end of a very corrupt security system snake that's been feeding it's pet Intelligence Service (GCHQ) with loads none nutritious grub, full of tasty stuff bulked out with buzz words that are included to get the information addict back for more of the real stuff.
You should see the real stuff being currently fed into the UK court system by employees of other/supplier organisations who's underpaid and overworked employees display very questionable attitudes to data integritty. Sexual biggotry and other personal biases abound.
Local Authorities using all sorts of incompatible systems abusively.
Anyway, it's a bit like Christopher Hodder Williams novel "The Egg Shaped Thing", the system is a runaway corporate monster and the nation states Go Vermins will soon be running after it with pitch forks and blazing torches .........

So now we have a label for anyone who's so pissed with this shower in Go vermins that they might as well go for it with a kitchen knife and put the deluded fucker out of everyone elses misery.
I'm not promoting this, just speaking thew bloody obvious..........

You also assume for some unknown reason that the AWS cloud isn't already compromised by one or more zero day vulnerabilities, which are actively being used already by US, et al (Isreal I'm looking at you).
You know, once you have a connection to the Internet the fucking game is up........it's just a matter of time, or is it too late already ?
Will we ever know ?

I'd imagine that the problem has something to do with the poor quality of the data going into the suppliers pipe line........ to create "proof".
Say, Bob sends in half the data to the outfit handling collating the data before it gets input into the actual court system, then later Bob tops that up with more data plus some amendments suggested by Bob's data handler, which again is later redacted from the original record some time after the data has been submitted to the court system. At another data collection portal of the court system Bob again inputs verbally the original data, or some of it, or the bits he thinks are important, not sure which bits are missing but .............. and that is only a poorly drawn sketch of yer actual data entry story which the UK court system has to deal with ................... before thinking about going digital.
Whatamess !

Like all information Systems, data integrity is soveriegn. If the data going into the system is not accurate or the data is incomplete, then it doesn't really matter what sort of system you are building, it will still be a bag of shit churning out crap or useless information for the end user.
So today's court systems are full of abuses by legal representatives who cleverly fudge Court Bundles to get their conviction by obfuscating the defendant's evidence, Claimants officers who do not provide truthful witness statements, avoid collecting evidence from the defendant, commit perjury in the witness box, etc.
At the end of the day the UK court system is fucked by corruption, how the heck are you gonna model that..............
In the County Court the judges decision relies on probability and likelihood and NOT on hard evidence, which generally speaking doesn't get a smell in.
If the Claimant cries foul then the defendant is a fucking grouse. Standing naked in the court will not prove that you don't have feathers.........

AI ? ML ?
Sure Microshits have heard of it. They built a GUI around using the START button to switch OFF your grey box, way back before I lost my memory.
They then moved on to enhance Windows performance by demanding Users experience the delights of mouse clicking twice instead of just once in order to STOP the machine - by using the START button.
By Windows 10, we all have to mouse click twice on the desk top screen before the display shows User a login text input field where password can be put in after clicking in the field. After accessing the desktop, User now needs two more clicks to close the delight which is the Edge browser that is getting in the way of doing any work. In fact Windows 10 is so fucking smart it lets me stop working altogether whilst it checks to ask the machine if it's ready for another dose of Windose Update............
Now were are told to upgrade to Windows 11 in order to solve the performance issues that came with Windows 10 update, in order to solve network vulnerabilities that were built into the PRINT spooler around WINDOWS 98.
I am also led to believe that the 8GB RAM fitted in side this box is necessary to make Windows 10 work with the speed of .................well, WINDOWS 10, or maybe a tad faster than WIN 3.1 used to be when running 4k of memory.
I suppose if we beleive everything than Microshitty meerkating spooky persons say when de-velopers have half finished knocking together the next version of their sheeze greater soft where ? The by using their version of AI and ML we are bound to arrive in the fabulous land of unicorn poo and rainbow shards, where hip idiots engage in synchronizzzing the unsyncable and only folks with white skin will be able to log in using parcial farcical recognition algoawayrythms

It wasn't Socialism which caused the poverty, same as it ever was greedy pigs wanting more than they can eat, same as it is out side of China. It's a human thing to blame others as a way of distracting attention from the greedy scoffing of everything that is going on everywhere there is a human being human.
The Intenet has only speeded up the greed. Who's to blame ? Why pick on the Chinese, or the Russians, when it's really the Isrealis doing all the dirty deeds............
ULP!
By the time all of these American on-line facilities have finished editing the posts made by subscribers, I really struggle to see what all the fuss is about when China or anyone else starts doing the same judicious editing of subscribers posts.

Surely others have woken up to the fact that English language versions of Wikiwotsit are just as far from the real story, especially if you are looking for info on something considered to be unsavoury according to another set of moral values............

These digichimps were providing similar services to those provided to the US go vermins prior to working for UAE, but that's OK. What's not OK is earning so much money that you don't give a fuck for your previous empoyer who was obviously paying them peanuts to do the same job.

Two Windose 10 boxen bearing a Firefox each, same version no.
On one, I configure the beast to never remember History and the beast remembers this. On the other machine, I configure the beast to never remember History and it simply forgets to never remember, every time.
I have re installed Firefox, it has been scanned by Sophos et al, it simply doesn't want to forget my browsing history automatically - on this machine........... is it the machine, or is it me ?
I am a long time Firefox enthusiast and I have promoted the browser amongst clients, friends and family for many years, but it is getting harder........ not easier

Firefox has been my browser of choice for decades (if it's been around that long) Unfortnuately I still have to use other browsers when Firefox says no.
I am so used to Firefox saying no to a page it has been saying yes to for ages, and I know that I must dig into the ever changing UI in order to make Firefox work once more with my favourite sites, as it did last time I used it.
SHEESH, it's only 'cos I geek, and yes it still infuriates me when I canna find the configuration in the ever changing Settings UI that will allow me to continue with my choice of reverie, research, entertainment, et al.
As someone already pointed out, normal folks don't even know what make of car they drive, only it's colour and if it's petrol, deisel, or electric. Normal folks do not want to start playing under the hood when they just got dressed up to go out to dinner.
So Firefox is cool for developers, but for the rest of the Internet Users, it's is far too often a bridge too far, one that will never be completed. So why bother ?
Sad days I know, but normal people's eyes still glaze over as soon as I mention anything to do with fixing the problem they are experiencing .........................

The fact that some nutter at the AI company thinks that a big fat fucking wage packet makes common sense, leaves me with one huge question,
Intelligence ? WTF ?
If even the UK Intelligence snoops are shit at their job, what chance has a company got where it's head honcho is dreaming of babes in surf on a trip to Mars in his flying fucking car.........
Yes Arseifacial Inellegant........... sicko's
Indeed as a long time Reg reader I have been watchig the spread of AI, which I prefer to use the initials to represent Artificial Idiocy.
To date (68 years old) I have met few if any intelligent humans. Sure we all have our moments of blinding common sense, but how many use their innate creativity to solve problems ? Most people dip in a shallow bag of aphorisms, like, this is going to hurt me more than it will you..... and there are plenty more like this still in circulation in the top layers of this so called "democracy".
In a world where there are many variations of the name for anything, what sort of arrogant twat thinks they have th capability to collect data and process it without bias ? Only bossy psychopathic tree climbing capitalist pig dogs need apply ?????
AH well, my old uni is currently running lectures on AI, one of the examples is the fucking ticketing machine system at a large cuntry house near Oxbog, which analyses (annal eyes) sales data so the owners can predict how to rake in more money from the punters........
Say no more........... Artificial what ?????

Driving interestate friends tel me is limited to 50mph on many of the roads, so yes an auto driving system would be invaluable for me as driving at this speed is when I am most likely to fall asleep at the wheel.
Luckily in UK it's difficult to get above 70mph for more than a feew miles, in fact let's be honest, the distance between towns is so short and the motorways so crowded, you are luck if you can get up 50 mph on most motorways, most days of the week, or even in the middle of the night if you use the M6.
We need cars with pillows that automatically catch your head when it falls over. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
