Does make you wonder

Whos in charge of you OS of choice....

Running Unbunto Mate atm.. been running/learning it for teh last 2 months.

I do like it, amy problems and a quick google search and all sorted.

Fun to learn :-0 (I jumped from Amiga OS 3.9 to XP back in 2000) then of course win 7, then got fed up with that and onto Unbunto.

Machines are that used :-

486dx running dos 3.1 with wordstar

Pentium 100 running Windows 98 (1st edition)

And he did have an old athlon machine running win xp with 256mb ram. Outlook express makes me shudder.

As i am generous i had an old Hp dc 5750 lying about upgraded it to 4 gig ram wanged a 500gb drive and and installed win 7. Works like a charm

Now getting moaned at as doesn't like thunderbird (Used this as i couldn't skin it with outlook express skin)

And dragged him off IE onto firefox (That also skinned to look like IE)

Bear in mind hes 74 years old and stuck in his ways

Power Bar: EE was warned of safety risk BEFORE user was burned in explosion

eJ2095

Common sense

They get warm when discharging also..

Thought think they are rated at 2600,

Most phones have at least a higher rated battery that drains this hence it gets very warm..

eJ2095

Oddly enough

I am in the middle of bringing my a1200 back to life.

Replaced the hardrive with a CF card and it boots in 5 seconds, also got a 68030 card in there...

Its up and running atm, fun to set up (and trying to remember short cuts etc after 20 years)

WHDLoad is running on it :-0 But to be fair never really played many games on it.

My a1200 back in 1998 was my first computer i took online and what fun it was.

But still want an a4000 to play with

And just a small plus if there are any EX Amiga users on here that used IRC back in the late 90s ans sat on arcnet on a channel called #pba say hi :--0
