Ive got a Vod Sure Signal.
Its crap.
Takes about 2 days if powered cycled to sync up and be ready, and then whilst sat there my phone will switch between the sure signal and teh mobile network going from full signal to hardly any signal.
Crap.

Mine ran warm and connx dropped out.
I mounted it on the wall using the 2 keyhole screw holes on the back. worked fine after that.
Kelly (the company not the guy) came round before crimbo and replaced it. I asked him why they were replacing it, and he told me its to make it work faster !!

what a load of nonsense
its clear for anyone with a brain to see that Windows isn't going anywhere any time soon. I like Windows, its easy to manage (IMHO) (and I look after around 4000 users of all differing abilities). I like Linux too, but at the end of the day, I am a technical person. My dad has trouble finding the power button on his PC, never mind giving him an unfamiliar OS, with unfamiliar software to use. At the end of the day, its simple, Windows is familiar. Until people either take a leap and use something else, of Microsoft stop making Windows and associated software familiar, people will and will keep on using it.

I have BT Infinity (FTTC), and i have to say its very very good.
I get around 37Mbit/s pretty much consistently.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone if its available in your area. Much better than standard ADSL and also doesn't come with VM's nasty STM.
