I was stopped for a check at Dover a couple of months ago and asked if I had any sharp objects in my vehicle. I don't know if he was an off duty airport guy.
Take down order
Surely if they are breaking the law with their system, there should be a take down order raised.
Or am I forgetting they pay lots of cash to the UK..... er..... no they don't
This sort of thing always reminds me of the Billy Connolly film "The Man Who Sued God"
But your bags are already bar-coded, how do they get lost.
When you check in you bag gets a tag that is already almost impossible to remove.
On this is the date, flight number & your name, so how is it that they get lost already?
Re: good riddance to an early 'hacking tool'?
I prefer Messenger as well.
Skype just winds me up.
I use it to chat to the good lady when I'm working away. It's simple and works most of the time. We have a fixed IP at home and I would love to find a alternative Video over IP system that connects directly without the need of a controlling server etc. If anyone can suggest one.
Re: Maybe we can get Samsung to get the point
That will be like the issue a couple of years ago when Tesco/Morrison's fuel killed HEGO sensors
Re: Youtube is becoming unwatchable
I was searching for a new fridge/freezer found the one I wanted and have bought it.
Now wherever I surf, I see adverts for fridge freezers. For god's sake, how many of them do you think I need?
Re: Fast charging
In Germany it's normal for houses have a 3 phase supply.
Re: Fast charging
"out off-peak charging when energy is cheaper"
I don't think you would be allowed to use your domestic mains for such charging. How will the governments get their fuel tax from you. I'm sure you will have to use a special connection to a electric tax levied meter.
Re: Possible Copyright infringement by the US then
I refer to the megaupload data, user info etc
Possible Copyright infringement by the US then
So if they have illegally taken a clone of his data, does this mean he can take action against them for copyright infringement ?
Wheels & Tyres
There are not many metric ones in the world yet !
Re: Apple’s layer rejected the sticker plan as “cumbersome.
If a sticker is too cumbersome, then they should recall all the boxes and print new ones :)
Re: Fidelity issues?
Don't forget to re-burn them after 5 years or you may start to loose them. I have a number of CDR's that started life silver in colour and are now gold or is that rusty ?
Some of these won't play any more so you have to keep transferring them :(
Re: Fidelity issues?
I would dispute this.
It is system dependant, if you are listening on a headphone or laptop speaker, then yes. But as soon as you crank it up on a reasonable hifi system, then anyone will notice.
Re: false security theatre
Or even the pilots that were blocked from taking liquids on the plane.
Hey, I don't think they need a bomb to destroy the plane as they are hanging onto the steering wheel, (well stick)!
Film/Music industries should now be making massive profits ?
On the BBC site it quotes "The creative industry argues that piracy costs £400m"
So now that the main file sharing sites have effectively closed for file sharers, their profits should now be up,
In the two months since Christmas they should have made an extra £66m , but something tells me they have not.
How else will Windows do it's updates
Fails a DNS lookup, so I assume this means there isn't a list of real music websites
Ho Hum it lists my companies gateway and not me :)
To sue using a False name !
She was quite happy to sue using a False name 'Jane Doe' there must be a law about that !
DIY or Assisted Orgasm?
I'm sure the scan would be different.
Also, other noise factors would be the amount of laundry waiting to be ironed, what outstanding housework, what time the kids need picking up etc...

What type of Vegetable is a Fish
My vegie son seems to be happy eating fish & eggs :)
@Field Commander A9
In the same way no one bought copies of "locked down" DVD's
How can they decide what are MY top stories.
How do they know if my auntie Flo's cake picture is more important than a band I also follow. Or if both are more important than my brother becoming a dad.
Failed on your lesson
I guess you have not seen the new format !!
As already mentioned, the BBC did a good article.
If I remember right, they put some sort of extra tax on the blank Tapes to cover copying.
But I for one remember the quick finger /pause button work during the top 40 countdown.
Back to front poor design
"Some of these aftermarket batteries are not equipped with internal protective devices to guard against overcharging, internal heating and short circuit"
Should it not be that the battery pack supplies the power and it's the device that monitors the supply and protects itself and the battery, poor design if you ask me.
