I'm way more impressed by the Jordanian show where one of the speakers pulled a gun out and started waving it around (not that it stopped his opponent who carried on regardless).

cross-licensing deal = worst case scenario

I'd far rather see the system collapse under the weight of America's retarded patent law system than a cross-licensing deal that effectively locks out new developers/manufacturers who aren't part of the patent club.

MI5 boss: Cyber spies, web-enabled crooks threaten UK economy

MI5 boss reported today that the substantial cost of employing all these cyber spies, web-enabled crooks and trolls was prohibitive and threatened the UK economy at large. The boss admitted being unsure of what a troll actually was but stated that he couldn't see any role for such creatures, given the reduced focus on ground warfare.

I said "until we invent" for a reason. Your implication that it will never happen is pretty short sighted. I could easily foresee a time when devices draw power wireless and use a single data connection port/surface for all communication needs.

RAPE RAPE RAPE

If they really want to investigate the case, they should be desperate to interrogate him. Doesn't matter if it's by Skype or Conference call. The prosecutor should be filing charges if they have EVIDENCE instead of pissing about trying to extradite him.

There are ZERO reasons why someone has to be extradited when all you want to do is talk to them. There is ZERO reason why you can't file charges TODAY.

You can try people in absentia, if they have that strong a case then they should be presenting it. THINK about the whole situation and consider that anyone can be ACCUSED, what matters is CONVICTION and EVIDENCE.

Swedish prosecutors have repeatedly requested that Assange make himself available for QUESTIONING.
