They tried the same stunt on the database behind (at the time) one of the biggest e-commerce sites in the country until we told them to go forth and multiply. They wanted to count each unique visitor as a licensed user with thousands visiting per month.

Once you get past the differences in language there are a lot of similarities between the legal and IT professions.

1. Untouchable mega-corps of "consultants" mostly there to do a "clippy" on a simple project - check.

2. Outsourcing of SME knowledge - check.

3. Specs wildly differing from Intent - check.

On the contrary AC in the US it appears what is defined as a crime or not is directly related to the size of your wallet (hello uber) or the colour of your skin.

The systems in Europe may be (badly) flawed but not nearly so much as a the land of the "free" - remind me how the electoral college system works again?. Given the choice I'd rather live in any European country (including Greece and France) than the US, never has there been such a contrast between the governed (who are generally lovely) and the government (which seems to be the bastard offspring of George Orwell and Ayn Rand regardless of whether they are red or blue).

Unlikely. Bureaucracies don't move that fast. If it was a copy of the original site then maybe, but with an enhanced security and comms model - I doubt it very much.

win 10 seems to be all SatNads problem. What the utter lack of consistency and continuity in the UI suggests that instead Sinofskis tyrannical iron fist approach they I've resorted to utter chaos with zero clear leadership.

Given that I question how much control SatNad has over his managers. They each seem to be doing their own thing.
